Simple idea but incredible execution, as soon as i grasped the concept it was very satisifying to play. The only critique I would have would there appears to either be some sort of bug or some sort of problem in the way the game communicates the "powered up" state as I found that multiple times I would become powered up, start going around smashing circles and then suddenly die. Other than that the level of polish is superb and I am very impressed with this game

This is definitely the most interesting concept I've seen from this jam. Controls are kinda jank, and i wish the last couple levels had some more things in them but other than that extremely impressive especially for a single person.

I agree with the comments from the itch page that it was kinda hard to tell what was the background and what was the foreground. The game had some charm but the movement was a little bit jank. Also some music and sfx would be nice. Even still, nice work!

the idea behind the game was that you're lost in a world you don't understand so it was supposed to feel a little like you're wandering trying to find your way out.. As for the movement, we wanted it to feel weighty but yeah we might've made the monster's hitbox just a tad too big haha

Glad you enjoyed!

I see. I guess that makes sense but overall I felt like that it made the gameplay more frustrating than fun. But that's just my personal opinion. Still, nice work!

The amount of variations was impressive and the setup for the waves were well done. I will say that the ui was a little confusing and it was pretty easy to forget which color did what. Also some music would've been nice. But overall very nice work!

nice concept, and the ui is well made. I do think it would be nice if the game would tell you what you missed when you lost lives as often I thought that I was right but then I would lose a life and have no idea what I missed which came off a little unfair. Still its pretty good. 3/5

Would be perfect if it weren't for the bug that causes items to deselect randomly as you're trying to drag them, which caused me to lose over and over. Without this, the art is charming, gameplay is simple and satisfying. I could definitely see this as being right at home on coolmathgames circa 2016

While things like the two quit buttons and the mismatched scope did make me laugh, I feel like you can only get by on "It's supposed to be bad" for so long. Even still, for 8 hours this is impressive.

Overall I just found this game extremely frustrating to play. While it has a decent concept, the platforming is clunky in a way that isn't charming, the shooting system is COMPLETELY broken, which makes it impossible to reach certain sections, and overall it just not any fun.

Also the comments here appear to be filled with either bots or yes men which I find concerning.

not that I know of! but we could possibly compile one for you if you want

Thank you!!

haha that was kind of the point! we wanted to trick the player a little bit as part of the mismatched theme i.e. the counter makes you think you're collecting cats when it's actually killing cats making it mismatched. Glad you liked the game!

Super cozy vibes and clean execution. Nice work!

Very cool concept with decent execution! I just wish it wasn't so short!
