I'm planning on releasing something (kinda like a teaser for an game) and thought about posting it to Release Announcements. However the rules say that is should link to the game on itch.io and tell a summary about the game. Which doesn't exactly work when making a teaser.

Any tips on what I should do?

If i submit my game for example tomorrow, am i still allowed to update it? (for example uploading it to the jam to get feedback and then making updates until the deadline).

If I'm allowed to do that, is it the latest version that is judged once the deadline is over?
