I don't have a Discord for this game, or any of my games really. But I'd love to discuss this game either here, or you can PM me on Discord if you'd like (my handle is basically the same).

Somehow I think I know which convention you're taking about because they rejected my games too. But congrats on this achievement, my pirated games only sell for <$10 on Aliexpress!

Haha, good catch. Updated the files to be optimized

Thanks for letting me know! I'll have to check that out to fix the bug

They put it on hold indefinitely, sorry. Maybe sometime in the future I'll find a new publisher.

Yes, I'm pretty sure once the pre-orders are done they'll start selling the ROM as well.

Oh wow! Thank you so much! I don't speak German but there were English subtitles. Great video though

Not yet, but that's a great idea! I'll try and whip one up sometime soon

Well thank you! I just updated the file, thanks for catching that

Yeah absolutely!

Yeah, Incube8 decided to move forward with other projects. I am looking into selling physical copies in my Etsy store, hopefully soon. I'm trying to find the carts, but probably in a couple months.

Love the use of my Animal Villager sprites!

It's all events, a crazy series, but it works.

The game is 4MB in size, but only has 2-4 hours of play time, so they don't think it's profitable to sell a whole package (box, manual, etc.). They're thinking of eventually doing a "Incube8 Lite" series, where that sell games like this one as only carts.

It's about 99% done, just got a couple typos to fix. It was originally going to be released in December, but then my publisher (Incube8) decided to shelf it for now. They still want to release it, but don't have a timeline anymore :/

Sounds great! I'd love to see what you make!

Thanks so much! I love your pixel art tutorials!

Wowzas, this game is really good. I love the depth, the details, and the humor (the allusions to Faust and Paradise Lost are pretty cool). Not much to say, except I was looking for something like a Pokemon Center to heal my D-Mons for free (because buying Choco-bars and Bandaids gets expensive, especially when you can't battle to earn cash).

Ok, I feel really dumb, but I couldn't finish this game. I found 3 people I think, but the hide-and-go-seek game didn't end. Not sure what I was doing wrong, and I tried scouring the map to find the "end" but maybe I'm just stupid, I dunno.

Ok, so I know that this is just a part of the game you're developing (probably a level), but even then, it felt a little bare. As a platformer, there isn't much to do (no enemies to fight, no tricky jumps to make), so it feels more like a walking simulator. The atmosphere is really the strength of this game, with the visuals and the music.

Yeah, I had a fantasy about doing link cable vs mode. We'll see if they ever implement that

This is a really cool concept! Holy cow, my mind is just reeling from the potential of a SRPG on the Gameboy Color. Great work!

Aw, thanks! I really wanted to capture a Retro-cute style for the game

Well thanks!

Yeah no problem!

Well thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it

Great game, a little tricky, but addicting!

Great game, a little tricky, but addicting!

Great game, fun concept, and just the right difficulty level! The music really pumps it up too

Great job making a puzzle game, it's really addicting. And much longer than I expected, good job!

Good job putting together something in the GB style. The controls are a little tricky to use in the game, and I think the second level glitched out on me.

Wow, great job putting together a rhythm game! It's tricky at first to learn the controls, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun

I know that VBA has an option for emulating the original Gameboy, if that's what you're asking. There's a checkbox in one of the menus.

Sure, all Holidays welcome!

I love the art style! And the game is fun to play too

I'm still not sure what I want to do for the back wall, I have two options I've included, but I think I want to refine my ideas a little more.
