Good job everyone who got something submitted! I've just gone through and played all of y'alls games, and they're all pretty good!

It's a fun game for a bit, but to be honest, I rage quit early on. It seems oddly hard to control, but this could be that using my right hand for control isn't natural for me, im overly used to wasd. from what i saw, great art style and I like the sfx. overall, it's cool the bit that I did see.

Overall, really cool concept. The biggest issues I had were that the screen was so big that I had to scroll to see different parts of it, and that after I paused the game and resumed, my mouse had no input (Might be user error though). You put together a great game here, and it was fun to play. Good Job!

This is a cool concept. I did play it solo just to get the idea, so I'm sure i'm missing a lot of the experience. It would be cool to have some background music, and it wasn't immediately obvious that touching the portal changed who can score, though that mightve been more obvious playing with other people. Overall, great job!

This is a cool concept, and adding a timer would be really cool. I could see this being a speedrun, especially with the fast paced music. That said, there are a few things. 1st, the background is a bit nauseating. I had to take frequent breaks, And the player was hard to spot at first. Maybe making them a color that doesn't appear elsewhere could help with that. Lastly, there is no pause button to get out of the game, so I had to task manager it close. All of that in mind, its a really cool concept, and I love the use of Gamemaker, I always love to see it get some rep. Good Job!

This game is cool, but I don't see much incorporation of the theme. I like the idea of a tower defense where you have some input on the tower, like with the shield. That said, there were a few issues. 1st, the controls aren't immediately obvious. Also, there is a lot of information left for the player to figure out on their own without help. Like that when the enemies hit the shield, they still damage the tower. I also didn't know that I could move the shield until I tried shooting through it, and pressed a bunch of keys to try to move it. Another issue, is when you lose, there is no button to go back to the main menu, the player has to try to figure it out themselves. Then, the exit game button did nothing for me, and had to task manager out of the game. Overall, it's a cool concept, just a few problems that make it slightly less enjoyable.

The music loop in this is really nice, it works really well for this game, and it doesn't get annoying quickly. The animation is smooth, and the SFX are great. The walking sound is out of sync at times, and will play mid air.  It isn't immediately obvious that it's right shift to change dimensions, but it's easy enough to figure out, especially for a game jam game. There are some times where whatever collision system you have in place feels a little off, but not by enough that it really matters. Overall, great job! If you decide to continue to develop the game going further, I'll be excited to play whatever new levels you come up with!

Art style is great, I really liked the design for the enemies. It controls really nicely, and it mostly intuitive. However, it's fairly short. And I did encounter a bug in the end screen, the "main menu" button doesn't actually work. Overall, great job!

Thanks! I had more planned that would've explained the game better, but scope creep and other irl factors got in the way, and I didn't end up having the time to finish everything. Thanks for giving it a play!

Thanks!

Please note that the pause button for keyboard and mouse is set to be tab, not escape. Escape stops the game in the unreal editor, and i forgot to change it back before submitting

Note that I set the pause button for this game to be tab, rather than escape. It was leading to problems in the engine, and I forgot to change it back before building.
