Ah yes, that was something that was overlooked, oops! Glad you were still able to enjoy it, and I appreciate you rooting for us!

But.... I have no idea what's up will all cheese memes either!!

Really enjoyed how tight the time was set on each challenge, really forced me to get good at each level and figure out the different routes. Takes the best aspects of Sonic-style level design and combines it with the theme very effectively.

What a lovely comment! I'm glad it gave you those nostalgic vibes, I have fond memories of those old school flash games as well.

You game is also wonderful! I did a few 'speedruns' of it after getting used to it and it was super fun.

A cool mechanical showcase. Though for me, I needed to be told some kind of end goal to keep me engaged beyond just figuring out the core mechanics, as placing the rooms down got tedious pretty fast.

The art fits so well for each kind of style of media the characters are from!! The writing is super fun too, really makes you feel like you're in anime hell

Really cool concept, with the expanding platformer level. Kinda wish there was something to tell how tall the beanstalk was or some kinda target height, as I ended up quitting a bit after the game started to lag. But was very enjoyable to mess around with for sure!

Everything about this game is very satisfying, the visuals, the sound effects, the upgrading of stuff. The simple joy of having little guys run around.

The anticipation of whether you win each fight is pretty engaging, plus the art is excellent, very charming. The end screen especially is a masterpiece

Fun idea, hope Mario gets help so he doesn't keep getting lost in the sauce

Love the aesthetic on this one!!

Squeak squeak cheese game!

Thanks for the honest feedback! I actually agree, there's not a lot of pressure to change your orders or be particularly efficient. In an improved version of this, that's the first thing I would focus on.

Thank you so much! There was definitely more tweaks to the AI we couldn't fit in among other things, but I'm definitely proud of it! As for the issue, time is paused at the beginning of each night, not just the first one, so that might have been it.

That'll be the squeakquel.

And they said it wasn't easy being cheesy...

Appreciate it and glad you enjoyed! Didn't have enough time for a proper tutorial unfortunately, so had to settle for the text.

Really liked the aesthetic and writing in this one. Dashing from shadow to shadow is a fun thing to do while looking around. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get more coins after buying the beet root, so I got stuck there. Cycling through items was a bit cumbersome too.

But overall, great execution of the idea, will probably try again to finish it at some point.

Thanks for the thoughtful review! I find myself agreeing with a lot of your points. I'm excited to see where we can take this in the future as well!

Cheers to you, for all the kind words!
