This is a really awesome concept. There are flaws like not getting attack cards right away, having too little green circles, and the enemies camping on the factory - however, i think the concept alone makes this special and stand out. Please keep working on this.

the character's facial expressions made me laugh out loud :D

The art is really cool

Really great concept. I would recommend to put the input button graphic closer to or on the tile of the track segment that can be switched. Please work on this more.

Taking such a simple gameplay mechanic and making it very fun. I really liked this. Wish there was a way to undo track placement. If you work on this more, I can imagine the map going in all directions, and being able to create loops and perhaps switches and things like that. Very creative, and awesome inspiration. I love it. If this concept was more fleshed out, i would buy it.

Graphics look great and very polished. For me personally, the puzzles themselves were more just trial and error.

Very cool. Reminds me of canoe trips i would take as a youth

Very cute little game

try downloading the the 0.0.1 version. I thin ka bug was re-introduced in the 0.0.2 version that has issues with DPI scaling. A work around for 0.0.2 is to make sure your windows display scaling is set to 100%.
Thank you for playing my game! :)

I like the sound and visual affects when the camera moves and when the player steps around. A very satisfying and tactile control and movement system

Very nice! Were you inspired by hotline miami at all?

I really liked this game. I feel like any suggestion i can make was either already mentioned or something you probably already know :)
Very simple, and an interesting hybrid of puzzle and rpg elements

Hey everyone I tried to create an easier chart featuring  the song from jam entry "ORC SMASH!"

If you had some trouble initially, give this one a try and let me know what you think :)

I agree. You made an awesome game

i like the idea and felt a sense of urgency as the creature was chasing me. could have potential as a little survival horror game. I think i would prefer if the rooms had different colors or something as at first, i didn't realize i was going into a different room - i thought the camera was just zooming in.

The main menu rotation was giving me motion sickness lol - would appreciate it being a slower rotation :)

The graphics are nice, simple, and cartoony which i like. I like how the ground goes down to infinity.

The win animation is cute.

The path finding impressed me.

I think i would like the ability to fast forward/increase the speed.

It's simple, yet has depth - and also has good vibes. I like the atmosphere and music. I think the only thing i would change is giving more visual indicators of what the controls are as i was very confused at first. Also the "prefers X" movement can be reworked. Ultimately i can see this as becoming a pretty popular NY times style daily puzzle game that many people would enjoy!

I really like the flow of this. Can see this becoming a more fleshed out unique rogue-like. I like that the movement is minimal and see speedrunning potential. At first i had no idea what was going on but once i figured it out i was trying to complete levels as fast as possible

The style was cool. I really like the "Squiggly" start locations of the lasers and the level win sound.

I'll try to get an easier chart created sometime this week :)
Or, if you'd like i can post a video on how to use the chart editor so you can make your own

Thanks for the feedback and compliment - and good idea we'll be sure to add this when we develop it more.

And thanks for the compliment on the music selection. It was free however, and not created by us - you can find the link on the game's page

Thanks for the feedback : )
when we develop this more later, maybe we can put arrows on the ground to show the directions the little blue men will take more clearly.

And yes, we'll try to make the levels/buttons more obvious next time.

I agree with making it less difficult -I'll make sure to take into account any difficulty spikes in future game jams. I originally decided to make the second level harder because we did not have time to develop a third level and wanted something that would take more time, but perhaps we should've opted to remove some hazards here.

And when we develop this game more, i'll be sure to put wires between switches and the objects they effect to make it more obvious what they do -thank you for the feedback! Greatly appreciated.

Also the music was free - not composed by either of us. The link to the site we got it from is in our game page description.

Thanks!

Ideally, we were going to have three levels of increasing difficulty - however only had a few hours left in the jam, so decided to just make the second level more challenging to increase play time. Will definitely make the difficulty more gradual if we decide to develop it more :)

Appreciate the compliment - this is our first game jam. looking forward for more

really good presentation and aesthetic :)
agree that its a little too easy to win once you realize what the buildings do.

art was really good :)

Presentation was killer :)
