Very cute game, I loved the art and the sound effects. The puzzle mechanics are creative and incorporated Evil Neuro’s theme well. The polish on the visuals was well done! The only thing I would say is distracting is the initial confusion on how to use Evil Neuro and also of course, some bugs/ending. Overall, great job!

Wow, like everyone else is saying, the art is amazing and the mechanics are easy to understand and use! The SFX is super cute. Overall, great experience. :)

Ahh thank you so much for playing!! ^_^

Hehe thank you so much! <3 I’m really proud of us for being able to include the little cinematic parts in the game. Thanks for playing!

Hi, thank you for playing! ^^ That’s super kind of you to say <3 and yeah, we definitely want to increase the puzzle difficulty level more in the future :) thank you for your feedback!

Hi, thank you for playing! :) Yes, definitely, we wanted to implement more complex puzzle mechanics and more in-depth puzzles, but were unable to finish it all in the end. We might update the levels to be more complex after the jam! Thank you again <3

Thank you so much for the kind words <3!! Yeah, I wish I caught those UI issues a bit earlier TwT but I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing! ^_^

Oops, I realized that most of the game scales fine not in fullscreen, but some key elements are only visible in fullscreen!!

Please play it in fullscreen or you’ll miss out on the dialogue and the art!

Your game has a quirky and fun concept :) keep it up!!

I think you’re supposed to aim the knife with the mouse and move with WASD to “stab” it - I had to spend a few refreshes figuring it out as well

Your game is really interesting but the controls were tough for me to use ;w; nevertheless, the style is superb, I love how your game looks. It’s a fun concept for sure, and it’s super clean for something made in such a short amount of time!

Hey, thank you for the feedback! Firstly, glad you enjoyed the gameplay and the art - we definitely wanted to make it a full experience.

We wanted to make it so that the characters visually fall asleep or become partially grayed out when inactive, so that’s one of the first updates we’ll push when possible! SFX will be a nice addition as well.

Thank you so much for playing!! :)

I’m glad you enjoyed it ^^ thank you so much for playing!!

Hi!! thank you so much for playing :) yeah, we definitely wanted to include some more puzzle mechanics and some more complex levels, but time constraints- however, we may redesign the levels soon! thanks again for the feedback 😊❤️

Oh no! there should be some dialogue showing up, it’s unfortunate that you missed out on it :( maybe I’ll upload a full playthrough of what the game is supposed to be!

but thank you so much for playing it and letting me know!! <33

Wow, thank you so much for the detailed reply!! Yes, I’m really proud of the extra completeness we were able to achieve for this project. Kudos again to our pixel artist @FoolPhilosopher and our musician @13bluec for making the experience even more meaningful. <3

I would have loved to implement some more complex puzzle designs as well, but alas, didn’t have enough time this time around.

As for UI scaling issues, yeah, I noticed those too! :( I think they’re mostly resolved by playing in fullscreen, but definitely something to fix. Thanks for letting me know!

I super appreciate your feedback! ^_^ and I hope you had a good game jam!

thank you so much for playing it!! 💜💜💜

Hey, thanks so much for playing!! Yeah, the resolution was a bit wonky with the fullscreen both embed-mode and “click to fullscreen”-mode. However, I’m glad you enjoyed it ^^

We tried to take a more creative twist on the theme of “Lost & Found” by exploring Evil “losing” herself, running away from the family, trying to keep them away from her, but Neuro + Vedal eventually succeeding in physically “finding” her in the end and Evil “finding” her place in the family. ❤️

The relation the game has to the theme is that it’s a metaphorical journey of self-discovery for Evil and a physical quest for Vedal and Neuro!

your game is stylized in a really cute way! I like that the puzzles are well-thought out and the sprites are so smol but convey a lot. thanks for sharing!

Your game is not only entertaining and cute, it’s also fully playable on mobile. Amazing job!

Thank you so much!! 😊

So hard! but the aesthetic is gorgeous :O

I love the art in your game QwQ

This game was so cute and comfy! I loved the witch NPC dialogue; it was sweet, funny, and just the right amount of sassy. I made a Fairy Trade latte with heart foam and it was adorable. I loved the latte art step progression mechanic. Thanks for the fun and the cute vibes!! <3

Thank you! ❤️☺️ it was very much a team effort!

Yeeee ☺️ thank you!! ✨

thank you!!

This was so nice to read after a week and a half of grinding on our game! <3 This was my first game jam ever - it was a whole lot of fun! Endless thanks to all of the coordinators for making this happen and I can’t wait for the next one :D

Thank you for trying it out! Our team is so happy to hear it! ❤️ We’re thinking of expanding the chess-themed functionality and making it extra clear how the game works when playing it 😊

Haha yes, Coots is very much so ☺️ Thank you for trying it out!! We appreciate the feedback! ❤️

Thank you ^_^! It was definitely a team effort coming up with the idea. Thanks for playing!

That’s awesome! We’re glad you figured out the mechanics of the game! We definitely want to add a proper instructions and controls page into the game itself to make it easier to understand the first time playing through it. Super appreciate you playing it!!

Hey Dan! Caught your stream for this and I’m so glad you enjoyed playing the game! We wish we could’ve had enough time to include a brief explanation of the controls, the pieces, and the abilities, but I’m glad you had fun with it! Congrats on beating the game :)

Thank you!! We’re quite proud of the custom movement we implemented for the player and boss ✨

LMAO well, maybe we should have included you on the team to give it that extra cerebral challenge :) but thank you for playing and the positive feedback on the art and music! All of it was made in the game jam time by our team and we’re quite proud of that ❤️

Yes, that’s a great idea and one we had initially actually! The time crunch made it so that we couldn’t implement everything we wanted, but I hope it’s still a fun experience 😊

Thank you so much! It means so much to me that you played the game far enough to get to the boss! 😊❤️ Yeah the time crunch was real and we wish we could’ve had a bit more time to balance the difficulty better :’) That’ s a great suggestion!

Thank you!! We worked extra hard to make the boss fight visuals cute! <3

Unfortunately, I didn’t get enough time to create art for the victory and defeat screens, but it’s there in spirit 🥲

Hey everyone! I just reuploaded the game because there was a game-breaking bug where player sprites wouldn’t show up at all after the pawn stage. Thank you so much for playing and rating!! <333
