I was able to finish this!!!
The movement was a bit hard. I know that boosters can help, but like we have to disconnect everything anyway to enter some areas. Not to mention moving with big objects while there were no boosters connected( moving the ion charger to connect to an Ion battery since we cannot directly connect a booster there unless we add another blank component)

Developer(+1)

Congrats on beating it! You're one of very few.

The required disconnecting components was how the game is related to the theme! You have to "lose" components, and "find" them again ',:) Admittedly it's quite annoying, oops. I plan to update this game and remove all the annoying stuff, thanks to all the feedback I got during this jam.

Thank you for the feedback! I hope you enjoyed playing :)

This game feels well polished, and a pretty cool concept, very good job!

Really cool idea! I like that there's no damage mechanic when hitting walls, turning this into more of a chill puzzle game. (That being said, I did have a hard time with the controls, but that's probably a skill issue)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It's not your fault at all btw, basically everyone had trouble with the controls. I plan to add strafing to the next version.

Lots of content and polished visual.

Ship modules mechanic really interesting, but the control sometimes work against it, I think adding ability to strafe would help relieve the frustration greatly.

Your game is really interesting but the controls were tough for me to use ;w; nevertheless, the style is superb, I love how your game looks. It’s a fun concept for sure, and it’s super clean for something made in such a short amount of time!

Interesting idea for a game. It's kind of hard to have anything done there, but it just be me issue than game issue. Good work nevertheless.

Getting soft locked is way to easy and you have to restart manually. A fix could be the ability to pass or "push" through objects. the exploitation could be the third dimension, some other reusable, non-capped ability, or completely unexplained as it simply prevents soft locks.

Yeah, this was something I wasn't able to implement before the deadline. Ideally, I would have had some sort of tractor beam with which you could move ship parts in range. Thank you for your ideas!

Submitted(+1)

Oh, that's a really good idea!

I was a bit lost (ah, space!), but as others mentioned, there’s a nice, natural progression that leads to the solution. I like these build-your-ship style game, and the implementation here with the ports worked really well. Eventually I got stuck in one of the rooms, when a ship part I poked accidentally blocked the only narrow pathway outside. Whoops!

Developer

Argh! Sorry to hear that. Thanks for telling me though!

Really stellar (oops, pun not intended). It's a good tricky game with a natural sense of progression!
