Love it!

Thanks for the feedback guys!

The world building was the thing that got left out the most in favour of ensuring a playable game. There is a lot on the roadmap and most of what you mention here is going to be built in one form or another! So feel free to check back and see how development is coming along.

Thanks for taking the time!

Thank you!

Thanks Erik! That's really helpful to hear your thoughts and I think I agree with the splitscreen idea being a bit more fun and adrenaline filled!
I've got an item on my roadmap to look into it now!

If it is of any interest at all, feel free to join my discord where I'm posting little updates as and when I have something to show https://discord.gg/WCUsabwFC3

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, I think the story/narrative part could be a lot of  fun and I've had good feedback around it!

PvP/Local co-op is definitely something I'm keeping in the back of my mind. If you were to play this with  friends, how do you think it would be most enjoyable?  Split-screen/party mode or as a online lobby type deal? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Great! Do you have a Discord for people following development?

Thanks for playing and the feedback! I do already have a plan for one type of grouping Yokels together a bit but I love your idea of a shop stand! I've added it to my list - thank you!

Well done everyone who submitted! And well done everyone else who was brave and tried!
I've see a fair bit of chatter from people continuing with their games (I include myself in this) and I've see a few people start up discords. Unless I've missed something, there isn't a current list of those people/teams and their discords so I wanted to start one!

I feel it's worth pointing out, you really don't need to carry on with your jam game, or set up a discord if you are. The jam is just about making games. But if you do have a discord that you plan on continuing development in, let me know in a comment and I'll add it to the list.

DISCLAIMER: Enter discords at your own risk.

Thank you!! It's been great seeing/hearing people's strategies :D I've got a lot more to add after the Jam!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you feel like there could be more there as I've got lots of plans beyond what is just in the GDD!

Yay! Thanks so much for playing!

I've got loads planned! Thank you for playing!!

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

Thanks for playing! I have a lot planned but I hadn't thought too much about local multiplayer. I think you are right though so I'll look into options there as I carry on development!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I only had a few days to get this done so there are a lot more things I plan to do with it, beyond what I have in the GDD! What side you work for is already a somewhat formed idea in my mind, so watch this space! Congrats on your submission too!

Thank you!!

Thanks so much for playing and the feedback! I've got a lot planned for it for after the Jam is done!

Haha, the voiceover has gone down well so far! Thanks for playing!

Waiting on a "safe" list of windows downloads but the art style here looks great! Congrats on submitting!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!

Hey follow word spreader! We both went down the same theme route but I love your implementation! Great job!

Amazing! Happy to know I wasn't the only one who took it in this direction! Love your submission too, really good job!

Thank you! I have many plans for it!

Thank you!!

I'll wait until all the downloads have been scanned by the team to play these windows downloads but the art style looks great! The gameplay looks very fun too! Great job!

The "giving up" was just on the path to submitting! Well done!

It does happen :( But the most important part is that you got it submitted, and you still have the GDD! Fix it up after the Jam!

I mean... some self promotion never hurts https://jenksthegecko.itch.io/heretic

It's a good feeling isn't it! Well done for submitting!!
