I'm glad that you like it! I definitely want to look into some future iterations. Hopefully some added mechanic in the future that incorporates the cannonball.

Glad you like it! I originally had it so that the force applied would add up to the direction aimed at, but found the movement too odd, adding the instant change afterward. I'm glad it paid off. Looking at some of the images I have you raise a good point about the colors blending a bit too much. I think whenever I get the chance to come back, I'll probably make the cannon a lighter color so that it sticks out better. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi, seems there has been a good amount of platforming-related submissions. I like that even with this style platformer the execution varies between them. Your execution I think is quite nice, having to place shots to jump over gaps or height differences. This paired with the bullet system I think helps to distinguish it. Your level design is also well done, given how each bullet exists to hint to the player the possible steps they need to take in order to progress. I had fun with it, even with how hard the levels got at times. Overall, solid execution and nice artwork.
Good premise, the art for it was pretty nice. A problem I had was the enemies blinking on hit. The timing for it felt off (Maybe changing from turning invisible to a different shade of the sprite might work better?) and I wasn't too sure if for hitting enemies I needed to rotate the blade through them or if keeping the blade on them dealt multiple hits. I think with some tweaks you could really polish what you've made, conceptually the idea is quite good.
