I can say from my perspective of composing (and not actually making the game itself), I would personally benefit from an extra week. I joined in late, 4th of July is gonna get in the way a little, and also I'm currently working at a plodding pace simply due to my inexperience, so I would welcome an extension with open arms. But that's just me.

Thank you for saying so, I really appreciate it. Frankly, after seeing your post, I was almost too intimidated to say anything at all for Glinny's Cauldron. But I figured I should give it a try anyway and see if I can have some fun making NES music. If anyone would have it, I'd love the opportunity.
I'm a little late to the party, but for music, would you be at all interested in chip tune, 8-bit music a la Famitracker? It's an authentic NES style program, Jake Kaufman used it for the Shovel Knight soundtrack for example. Narrow, I know, but after the most recent EzA Podcast, Kyle's suggestion to come and offer help made me realize I should give it a shot. I'm an extreme amateur, tried composing for a game with some buddies a couple years ago but that fell through pretty early on the programming end. Some past work here, for said project: https://soundcloud.com/user-62809124
