I have! I think I may have found you on one of the various furry visual novel servers out there, I have sent you (or who I think might be you) a message :)

I wouldn't mind, sure thing! Let's give it a chat and see how we're feeling :)

Hey there everyone!

I'm interested to partake in this jam for my first time, so I want to offer my skills and experiences to be picked up by a team (or people wanting to form a new one). I'm an digital artist first and foremost, with experiences in game and graphic design, as well as an inkling of interest in writing (although my skills in writing creative text still need a lot of work). A sample of my pieces and contributions can be found on my itch page as well as my profile on ArtStation, which is linked in my profile :)

I'll be looking forward to work with y'all in May :D

You're welcome! :D

Your proposal for the Edmond AI sounds like a nice compromise!
In regards to the crystal, I do slightly favor using the crystal taking up a turn, as a risk-reward aspect of always checking before going vs. going through the mansion blind and scout sparingly :)

However you might decide, I'm happy to give the game another go :D

I wasn't able to complete the game in time, so my take will be a bit limited in nature :)
In my current playthrough, I managed to experience the tutorial, strolling through the hub-ish area, obtaining the fire orb and getting game over'd atttempting to reach the lightning orb while collecting none of the secrets.
(I blame it on my bad time management, my poor skills in platforming games and watching the enemies up close for far too long... 😅)

Even if my struggle to get the platforming aspect made progress go quite a bit slow on my end, I adored the time I had in there! The tense atmosphere all around made me quite scared to move and gave me quite a bit of a shock when the enemy spotted me the first couple times, but after getting the hang of things the tense feeling quickly turned into nailing the rather tough plattforming obstacles strewing across the world! Figuring out the way to the fire orb for example had me look quite hardly to spot the blocks one can jump from to get to the upper end of the room - once again, my lack of experience can be put to blame here, but maybe including more visual types of terrain to differentiate from the stone/brick-ish look all over could help freshen up the experience and lead the eye towards the way of progress :D
Bonus points for the neat tutorial provided at the start of the game - incentivising it with a 1UP at the end does sweeten the deal of learning the controls and basic mechanics to the full effect :3

The theme of the game is neatly integrated with the other obstacle faced in the game - those pesky demons! Being able to only rely on stealth to take care of them temporarily is a great choice, for which the natural formation of the level as well as the hiding spots strewn all across can be used.

From what you might be feeling, I clearly enjoyed getting caught by the enemies 😊
Being able to see the outcome when getting caught in peace, having a movable camera to see the action from different angles and being able to skip it easily are all quite neat checks in my book! The camera movement could be made faster in my opinion, but nothing all too breaking, all things considered :)
I love the three h scenes painted there! 💖

I will be continuing my andventure in your ruin with much fun and joy and try to discover all of your secrets! Great job in crafting such a sweet game 😊

Ooh, I adore the look and feel of this fun little romp! The pixel art really hits home with the nostalgia feeling, which in turn make the possibilites of h scenes in this and future builds pretty exciting and heart-beatingly great to look forward to 😊💖

I agree with the notion of Edmond being pretty OP and having an unnaturally great sense in knowing where Sara is hiding - I adore this for the NTR theme of the game and making the scenarios with him easier to access, but on a gameplay sense it makes it quite hard to reach her first before one figures out the pattern of his behaviour (if someone's struggling, try to follow his general direction and base your decision where to go next by the hints the crystal gives while Edmont is searching rooms!). Being as dominant as he is in this build, it is indeed quite hard to obtain the Guards scene as those move and act more freely without this magical sixth sense.

The theme is met in strides, the presentation is awesome and the gameplay loop and rewards in form of scenes can invite for many quick rounds, way to go on such a sweet game! I'll be happily looking forward to see updates and more iterations to fleshen out the overall experience 😁
