you can easily import simple Blender models, I think it would be a 5min job but improve the environment by far!

I don't think this would be any more effort than adding some texts (dialogues) or having some interior design in a room. I believe horror games relies more scary sound effects. Candle is a good asset usually but not a necessity in my opinion

Hey there! Cool soundtracks! I would love if you could come up with some environment bg music for my game if you have the time and energy for it. I have no idea on what I will want, I would just rely on you to make something you think you will fit, based on a half-done project I would send during the jam (hopefully at half way through the jam).
Contact me if you interested, my dc: idroppedmycroissant

Yepp, same, I don't know anything about the work of the host's, but first thing today after work will be to check out some of his content. I have a bare idea in my head, heavily inspired by my gf (she is the Hello Kitty type girl) I will try to make a game that will balance between a dark horror environment and a Nyan Cat like main character. Im very excited what will I make out of this.
Good luck on the jam for everyone!

hi, the reason is that there is a bit loading bar at the bottom, that tells the force of the throw, since you see the picks falls, i wanted to give a bit of a challange for the shooting. Simply think of it like a real bow

thanks! Yep you right, thats my "primary" language, bit of an impostor here :) )

Yeah i wanted to give a bit of a tutorial/background story for it in the beginning, but thats what I had time for unfortunately. (Probably haven't worked 10 hours on this whole thing.)

The idea came fast, literally my first idea (4other came up) but I choosed this for simple mechanism+replayability

thank you! yes I had this idea, giving more details to the outside world, but I had little time, I had to work on Monday, so this all was done within ~50 hours (it was also a busy weekend unfortunately)

Cool little game!
Coding without engine is hard, I like the effort tho!
There are simple ways to make your python file runnable (at least on windows). I'm not sure if this would be against the rules but probably a lot more people would try out the game

Sorry! I missed that its limited on 2D

the platform can be varying, i always loves to find ways for different platforms, or different control ideas so I don't want to bother you with these type of restrictions

i want you to go on, let it out whats in your mind, what could be sort of interesting as a game, be truly free and open minded ^^

this means i dont want any specify any genre (but i guess everyone had enough from simple "platformer adventure" games)

Hi guys

So to be short, i want to you to give some sort of ideas for my hobby projet during quarantine. My goal is to create a yt series of devlog, much like zyger, thinmatrix, randall (and so on..).

I want it to be fully community driven, yet it's hard to start without a community, so to start with, i want to gather something here. It does not have to be a complete game idea, I appreciate every detail, and of course as once a theme formed, I will focus on fulfill everything related to that but the community will be orientating to that as well (at least i hope).

EDIT: the size of the project is not fixed, but i wish i could continue it until the end of the quarantine time.

I will use Game Maker:Studio (1.4) because it has all of the features that I want for example:
-Cross-platform building (Focusing on windows nor HTML5 but try to be put on android if the game mechanics will allow it.. :D )
-full featured 2D game framework
- and..I just bought it a couple weeks ago on Humble-bundle so for me, it will be fully legal develop with this great engine :D
