Ah ok. This makes perfect sense. Deleting the media source is what I'll need to do to get what I've set as default to be applied since all of those videos already have something else (from previous play throughs) assigned to them. Thank you for the help! I'm going to make sure I get all of my presents the way I like them before I do that though so I don't have to keep deleting the source on the left.

Hey hey,

I'm just curious if I'm doing something wrong or it it's the expected behavior. I'm trying to get settings to apply by default to every video. For example, I know I can set sharpness to a value and then click the save icon next to the top preset in the list (I only have one in the list anyway) and it overwrites that.

The problem I have is the next video will not apply that sharpness preset by default. I have to go in and apply it by clicking that preset from the list. As soon as a video has had that applied, it will remember for next time, but I'd like to understand if there is a way to set presets that will just automatically apply for everything (previously played or not) unless you've specifically changed them for that video, and how to set that up, if that's possible.

@HereSphere thank you so much for all of your help and support.

Thank you! That makes sense. I just didn't know you had to have the menu open to do it.

Would the filename thing work for the other options where you choose fisheye? Like I set mine to equi something. I forget already what it's called. But it looks correct when I choose that over fisheye.  Anyway, could I do the file naming thing with an "E" instead of an "F" for fisheye or does that only work with fisheye?

Hello. I've read the user guide but I'm afraid I just don't understand something and was hoping to get some help making sense.

What I'd like to do is set the default to open every video in fisheye (or the option right below it) but I can't figure out how. Right now, I set it to stereo fisheye and then the next video that plays defaults back to mono perspective view.

I read about the shortcut layers and such, and I found the option to save a default in the settings and tell it I want to click the middle or up button, for example, to recall that saved layout. But when I click the thumbstick (quest 2 standalone app) it just loads the multiple video view. I'm obviously doing something wrong and I'm just not understanding how to save a layout (or whatever you call it) and how to recall it if it isn't designed to just load every time a video does. Looks like the center menu button is a -1 layer which I understood meant it worked no matter the modifier button but I'm just misunderstanding something.

Since the handy will just keep playing a script until it's told to stop or play a different one, that would allow people to find an hour long beat themed script and just run it while a playlist of 2 and 3 min PMVs cycle through. Would be awesome if it ended up in your future plans. Loving what you've done with it!

Hello there. First off, I'm using the Quest 2 version and it is absolutely amazing! Super great job with this player. I am purchasing the full version tomorrow just to support, I love it so much.

Quick question about Funscripts for the handy. I am wondering if there is an option to manually load a script with a video you have on the device hard drive? I have a TON of shorter videos that do not have their own script and what I'd like to do is create a playlist with those videos in it so that they will play one after another, but be able to pick one of maybe a few really long funscripts that would also be on the quest 2's hdd. This way that one script would load up and play through while the videos that don't have their own funscript play. Or even just to mix things up by being able to choose a different funscript to go with a selected video than the one that actually goes with it just to mix things up a bit. Is manually selecting a funscript to play with a video an option now or in the future?
