I sure hope so:) glad you enjoyed playing

thanks for playing :) there isn't any 'win-state' so you didn't miss anything. totally agree that having some progression would help the game

thank you :) I'm glad you enjoyed the shaders playing around with them is a lot of fun

I'm sorry </3 I'm assuming you're running it on windows? I'm not to familiar how to resolve these issues but if you get any error message I'll definitely look into it

thank you :)

thank you :) I totally agree that adding more variation would be what to tackle next

Thank you for playing, I really appreciate the kind words!

Incredibly well done, absolutely nailed the aesthetic ( between the icons, windows, music in total). Please, please keep making games :) !

Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot to me! You can find the code here on github (a little bit of a mess rn ).
1. The graphics are a modified version of bayer-dithering, applied as a full-screen effect in URP ( this video / channel is my fav for Unity graphics stuff). Light use of URP post-processing was also used.

2.The title/end screen are built using the default unity animation tools. Just entered record-mode, moved the timeline, and then moved the camera along the path (although cinemachine could probably accomplish this better). The intro cutscene are just stills moved/scaled in a similar fashion with a worldspace canvas.

I definitely aim to make the game longer and more robust for resolutions! I designed it for a fixed aspect ratio for Webgl but had to switch platforms last minute because of compile issues. I joined the jam a bit later and ran out of time (and didn't wanna crunch like with jams in the past). Once I finish the project I hope you'll give it another go :)

hehe you exceeded my expectations!

It was really the whole inspiration and driving force behind the game.

I'm definitely stealing the thick-outline style for a future jam! Nice idea and execution.

I guess that wasn't explained well! All the gems are invisible; so finding them is like a game of hot and cold. They can spawn on any surface, and there's an audio-cue when you're really close with the scanner. Thanks for trying it out.

Thank you!

Mouse Scroll Wheel!

Effective and fun for LD! Sometimes the music was a bit off of the buttons, but that's probably WebGl and junk. Some more foliage/indicator of depth could be cool. Good game

Has every aspect of a great jam game. Unique concept, art style, and great execution. A+

Very nice, relaxing atmosphere achieved!

A Section on controls would be appreciated, and an auto restart on falling off the pan would be cool. Overall, I have no idea what this is, but I love it.

Thank you! The goal was to last for 1 minute, but I guess I made the countdown hard to see, especially with the timed instructions.

This is awesome, the art style is great. The mouse sensitivity was quite high, but defiently very cool

Very cool game for 3 hours. Could I ask what shader/method you used to get the pixel art style?

Wasn't sure what the point of the mounds were, or how to win/loose. I enjoyed the aesthetic and shader used. Spiders were fun theme. Easily most interesting looking game of the jam.

Solid game, very fun to play! The floaty controls were a little hard to get used to, but goes with the theme well. Art style was very effective. One suggestion would be to add some sound. Nothing much, just a free soundtrack from opengameart and sound effect for picking up/placing things. Good job!

I couldn't get past the first area, my jump wasn't high enough to get back up after nabbing the yellow potion. Nice idea with a lot of potential though! I liked the art/wavy sprites

Fell off the world, couldn't respawn... I like the idea of the helpers assisting you. The menu/dialogue looked smooth. The wall jumping is a bit unforgiving, maybe look at how Mario Odyessey does it where you can continue to hold one direciton. Good job!

I liked the game!  The music and art were good. Couldn't make it past level 6, I would always get there 1 move off.

Thanks for the play. I last minute changed the buy-price of fences to incentivise using them, and must have forgot to change the sell price! The screenshot really made me laugh.

Nice game, enjoyed the speeding up music.

Nice game, good platforming. It is quite difficult, though, maybe make the jumps a bit more forgiving. Sound would also add a  lot to the game!

It was kinda open to interpretation, but I imagined the company had such a large number of people that needed to die that they didn't really care, as long as it got done.

Thanks! I used unity for this project, C# in visual studio if that's what you're asking.

Oops: that's a bug, I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!

The idea is executed in a clean way, I really liked it. I did somehow manage to get stuck though, maybe consider adding a way to restart? Just an idea. Nice game

Thanks! I was planning on adding a 'game' part to it, but I got too crunched for time and didn't want to put something that didn't fit in.

This is my world so far. The game puts you as an apprentice to an apothecary (potion - maker), just starting your first day as a potion maker.  The games revolves around finding ingredients for potions and helping people by making potions to help solve their problems. The story will turn when your mom needs a life-saving potion, which is made form a rare flower beyond the mountains. Feel free to give ideas or feedback, all is welcome!

This is semi-ridiculous that the theme is still not announced. I think if a majority of people (7 comments + me) agree on it by commenting on the post, we could choose a theme for us randomly. If each person comments that they're in and a theme suggestion (keep them realistic), I can use a RNG to choose one, and that'll be the theme. I simply want start and this might be the best way to do so.
