Great style & Concept for a matchmaking game! Matches the the theme very nicely. The end screen made me smile :)

Really enjoyed the overall aesthetic of this game! The UI is very straightforward and the colors & icon tools work well together :)

This game was definitely a highlight of this jam! It's super impressive how many mechanics and levels you were able to get out of this for such a short jam! The gameplay was also very innovative and used the theme in a hilarious way, especially with the visuals and sound design! Awesome job!

The mechanic of switching between two versions of the same map was really creative and ties into the theme really well! It was really fun exploring the rooms while trying to spot the difference and find where all the different items go! I liked that the game tracks how many times you swapped and used the stairs. I played through the game twice and once you know where the items are, it gets really satisfying trying to find the optimal route to do it quickly. This would be a really cool idea to expand upon and maybe add some kind of scoring system for replayability! Overall, nice job!

Super cute and fun!! Desperately needs some visual feedback though. There is no indicator that I timed things right (no "Good!" or "Perfect!" etc.) which makes it feel a little un-interactive. But the idea and the art style are stellar.

I love all of the character art, y'all absolutely nailed the visuals! And the fact you made such a great song under jam pressure is seriously impressive.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you thought our banter was funny, and that you liked our take on Sudoku :)

Big fan of the cover image, the music, and the visual style you're going for with this! You've got the vibe down, I'd love to see how you'd flesh out the gameplay.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you liked the bit of guessing the item counterparts, that was something we thought would fit the theme well and would love to explore in this sort of puzzle game in the future.

Felt like you tried a lot of interesting mechanics with this game! Needing to complete a different mini-game for each item is a cool idea for a Diner Dash style game. The Internet Aesthetic is also really cool, I had a nice "Aha!" moment when I figured out I could multi-task with the minigames (Letting the fries or coffee go while I do other stuff). And with that said, the internet ads popping up really added to the charm and aesthetic this game has (Along with its hectic nature). The fact you were able to make this many minigames in a jam as quick as this one is also really cool!

If it's ok to offer a bit of constructive criticism- I would love to have a chance to learn some of the mini-games & get an order or 2 out before 4 of the Customers run it at once 😅 I had to restart a few times, as I write this I realize I wasn't sure if there was a lose condition but the sort of vibe I got from it was that I was doing something wrong. I think it might also be cool if we started off with orders that asked for 1 or 2 items, to ease into some of the more abstract mini-games. I was confused on the infinite donut hole because it seemed like the most "out there" game, with the changing numbers. Once I figured it out I realized it wasn't so bad, I just originally thought I had to keep going down.

Thank you so much for submitting this game! I think you've got a really cool concept on your hands & I'd love to see you explore it more! :)

(1 edit)

I played this on my phone & it was super charming! Loved that you guys tried something I really didn't expect, Rhythm games seem tough to do for a jam. Making it themed around a flip phone from the 2000s was a really fun idea & felt totally in line with the theme of the jam.

Glad to hear you enjoyed our characters! They were really fun to write for. Hope you didn't mind being tricked into learning Sudoku :P

Thank you so much for the kind words!  I also appreciate the feedback, I agree an indication that "a piece was placed correctly" could definitely help make what is keeping the puzzle from being solved more clear :)

Loved the minimalist style on your game! I'm glad you're planning on expanding on this. This was a fun puzzle game I'd love to see more of! The sfx & music totally complimented the levels as well. Lastly, I think you chose the perfect tile, I love "Yin & Yarn"! D the cats are so adorable.

Thank you so much, glad to hear you liked it! :D

Glad to hear you enjoyed it & liked how expressive our characters were! It was really fun trying to balance the pacing of the narrative with the sudoku puzzles.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed the story & art :)

The food puns were full of wit & a delight to read ("Take this with a pinch of me" was my favorite). The "bad responses" from Dr. Pineapple gave me a great laugh even if I felt too bad to go down those dialogue trees! I GASPED when Pizza showed up on screen, loved that Dr. Pineapple's last Chapter was revolved around his relationship!

Great job with this! I'd get a sticker of Dr. Pineapple smiling, he looks so sweet :)

Lets go Gambling!

Thank you so much :D

Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoyed the opening XD Yea, the main thing we'd like to improve about this idea if we ever get the chance is to rely less on the RNG for the RPS battles.

Thank you for the kind words! I agree, we'd like to flesh out the combat system if we were to revisit this idea.

Thank you for the kind words and for checking out our game!

Thanks for the kind words! Tried out your game & really liked the style on yours as well :D

Really liked the way you interpreted the theme, especially with the visual design of the town, feels very cozy- like you're really running around and making a difference. I'll echo the bit about wishing missions would pop up sooner.

Congrats on getting past 100K, that's awesome! Really appreciate the kind words, our team had lots of fun with this jam, we definitely want to do more in the future!

Thank you! :D

Thanks! That's good, Pac man was one of our comps for sure :)

Thank you! :D

Thanks! :D

Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed our submission :)

Thank you so much!

Wow, that's amazing!! Great job, and thanks for the kind words! :D

Haha, I like to try and make the biggest chain of Nightmares when I'm playing this too

Please post your high scores in the comments! While I was playtesting, the highest I got was 12000

Nice job, I like how I got to go back through the options after the game ended :) the audio also really added to the atmosphere.

Thanks for the kind words!

Thank you!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
