So I only recently found out about this and absolutely fell in love with the idea.

While I slowly think of any ideas on what cards to make, I'm curious about the font you used for the logo and some parts of the Canva template. I wanna make a lil card back design just for fun, instead of just having the back be blank.

I'd guess the "meat" of the 7.5GB is probably basic stuff like engine and main assets, so if the next chapters release as updates or something similar that keeps everything to the same .exe, then I think it'll be lower, but if each chapter is its own standalone file I think it'll remain about the same all throughout, maybe even increase in filesize depending on how big the chapter is.

but I know barely anything about game development to be sure of what I'm talking about here lol, just guessing stuff

Being a server issue would be somewhat weird, since I've tried several times during different times of the day. It's not really possible/easy for the servers to be overwhelmed 24/7, is it?

(1 edit)

I've been trying to install the itch.io app, but every time when it's almost done installing, it gives me the error

There was a problem during setup: EPERM: operation not permitted, unlink 'C:\Users\MY_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\itch\broth\butler\versions\15.17.0\butler.exe'

I've tried messing with folders, disabling virus scanners, uninstalling and reinstalling,  several times even. No change. I think I'm lost on this one.

EDIT: Honestly I don't think it's related to server overload. It's apparently telling me to "unlink" the butler.exe file. I have no idea what that means or how would I do that, and even if I did, it's apparently locked behind some sort of permission thingy that doesn't even let me open the exe.
