I was planning to put a cooldown on the teleport ability but ran out of time🥲

Lmao glad you beat shadow man (the Warden)🤣

You have to travel around...go right, down then left to find the door

You guys had me chuckling 🤣

The dialog progresses when you touch the dialog box

I only realized it wasn't indicated in-game until after the submission deadline

Tapping the heart icon saves a screenshot of the game...it's actually how I took screenshots to post on the itch page

Thanks for playing!!

The jam really pushed me to implement some features that I never thought I could do before especially in such a short time! In less than a day I was able to make a scene transition node to automate well...scene transitions, with a loading screen in between scenes. Dialogic and Dialog Manager plugins for Godot were too confusing to handle for a first timer - the former had issues with scaling to fit any screen size and the latter gave me issues with initialization - so I went ahead and created my own dialog system using Godot's Regex node. I also learnt a better workflow for borderless tilesets in the Engine and how to balance foreground and background tiles with the 'tool' feature. Even did a sound system for switching music based on context!

Thanks to the moderators for this amazing stimulus!!

Help...I didn't know uploads were disabled for the jam so the file I had uploaded earlier was deleted when I tried to upload a bug-free version. How do I fix this?

The initial plan was to implement other number sets to have the player on their toes but I ran out of time because of holiday activities

There are a couple of (slightly) branching dialogue paths in there. They just aren't discoverable in one playthrough.

Thanks!! Was gonna name him 'Brad'...

Thanks for the feedback!! I was actually planning to put in prime numbers and rational numbers in the game but had to rush to polish the game because I was on a strict schedule. Was busy for most of the 3 days and put only about 5 hours total into making this.

Me too!!
