Finally got to this. Love it! Clearly reminiscent of that hidden cave game you mentioned in your recent game design write-up, also just so fun and charming.

Killer intro graphic.

Now this guy I get. Never stop being you, Quaffy.

...what? Who are you?... Dick clicker?

Don't you dare awaken this in me.

(1 edit)

Exquisite. I enjoyed the long section of regular beats. Could zen out and jiggle the puppet without watching the track. 100% would scam again.

Awesome.

But what does the tiny rubber chicken activate...!?

Several people have beaten it now. I just about did, but got stuck a bit before the end.

I've never pressed those buttons to do those things. It was fun! Thank you.

Intended as a compliment. Simple/elegant/good.

Nice. Very simple, but interesting depth (that will murder you until you wrap your head around it.)

Meow piano. Exciting!

This was awesome! I think... I can't really remember it, but now when I close my eyes at night I see a blank white screen and hear a dull roar and I've never slept better.

Highlights: the main menu actually changing (I think... that one made me question if I was imagining things or not), night terror refill, infinite humiliation loop.

Oh thanks! I'll notify you when it's up.

weird thank you for playing

Yup. Never quite finished it for the game jam. Sorry about that.

This is delightful. Pleasant twist on the original formula.

Thanks again Lino. We've addressed it now.

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

I've never felt more appreciated, or stylish. The game is a cute.

So peaceful, with a nice dash of... melancholy isn't the right word. But an interesting somber ambience from the rain, the grays, and the music. Controls were cool - fun to try and figure out how to sail against the wind. Also the art were purdy.

I'm putting together a supercut of clips from the Horror Jam, and I just wanted to stop and say this one was magnificent. Eerie and beautiful.

It's been forever since the jam, but I'm combing through entries to edit together a supercut for pigsquad and wanted to stop and thank you for this awesome entry. So spooky! I liked how creatively you used the phones. Fun puzzles. Tense encounters that start out innocent. Oh, and I won't spoil the very, very end... but I got a kick out of it.

Cool! I love how you get thrown into the game and need to figure out the controls as the train moves, but it's forgiving because the train is on a loop. Kudos to the art and music as well.

Oooh, I really like the look. Like gritty, over-exposed DOOM.
For any other players, the game performance was 10x better in Firefox than when I tried in Chrome. Might be weird browser settings on my part, but worth hopping over if you're getting single-digit frame rates.

Everybody, pile on! https://jonapulse.itch.io/light-borrower

I had a mini-existential crisis when the game kept telling me I couldn't do anything until I had a pocket monster. It was an interesting head-space to be in. Was relieved when I found the large rat, but I imagine who I would have become without that.

I like that your life is measured in vans. Fun to try to find the 7 objects (though I admit I could only find 6.)

Far and away the most feverous submission. The game seemed to break for me on the 3rd riddle: 'shame that lives in your butt'. The camera switched to a new direction and my bullets only shot directly upwards. On reflection, I think it added to the experience.

The letter with the erection will haunt me.

I like the art. The blue/white two color scheme was a good choice.

Fun, easy to pick up game. I like the capitalist conspiracy angle of this wizard destroying all oxygen just to move product.

Sometimes the shark spawns weren't fair, like when you would get a horizontal spawn you couldn't escape when traveling down.

Easy to pick up. Charming. Pleasantly weird as fuck.

This is a very clean, gripping visual design. You did the "hidden enemy" thing well; good work.

I love the lung man character design.

Tolerably romantic.

Hubba hubba. So romantic!
