Hi There!

The demo for our dice-based tactics game inspired by Fire Emblem, Persona and Darkest Dungeon just released!
You can find it here: https://spelkollektivet.itch.io/dice-gambit

We are a small group of friends who poured our hearts into this, who would be super honored if you would check it out. :)

In the game you shape and lead your own fully customisable (and debt-ridden) family of Inquisitors in charge of hunting the chromatic monsters infesting the city of Neo-Talis. As your inquisitors cleanse the city, they will unlock unique abilities and grow more powerful, until they retire - or die. Gain favours by hanging out with eccentric nobles, learn the secrets the city holds and occasionally deliver ice cream!

Consider dropping by our discord and let us know what you think! <3

I think the berserk / rage take on the theme is quite clever. Thought i think maybe there should have been done more to feel out of control while in berserk mode. There wasn't much reason to go back to the un-raged mode which was a shame.

Nonetheless neat idea and fun game! Good job

ooh that is a neat idea!
I think had this been developed more i would without a doubt look into adding some kind of reset. It was quite down the list for us doing the jam, simply because the theme was out-of-control.

I am still reviewing my forced review queue, but once i am completed with that i will totally check out you game! :)

Thank you for the kind words <3

Thank you, glad you liked it!
And who knows, you might actually se something else from this team far in the future ;)

Thank you so much!

Yeah the turtorial hints while pretty are not the most clear, That is on us :)
Glad you liked it! Looking back we would definitely have spend more time fine-tuning level design, our first prototype had a procedural level build of chunks and it was quite late we realized a more fine-tuned approach would be better for this type of game xD

Super cool game! Very fun to see another spin on an idea similiar to ours. Great job and nice music :)

Yeah totaly get that! Been there so many times xD! anyway great job, and keep at it!

Very cool! Such a neat idea for a gamejam! :) Well executed

Nice gameplay loop, a shame it wasn't longer

Sad that you guys ran out of time.
Awesome art and theming though!
Clever twist on the game-jam idea, keep it up!
