Love the intro sequence! And the game was pretty easy to get a grasp of. Though at some point Neuro will run out of learnable memories (all being null), at which the player is doomed to obtain 100% memory. If that's intended, it's a bit sad for neuro, but neat concept - I managed to end with a score of 342. :)

Phenomenal graphics! I love the look of each character, the UI, setting, and even the drinks! Tony's tonic and Donowall drink have very similar appearances that I think confused at least one person below - if that was intended, I like the mix-up. Gameplay was pretty smooth too, I personally didn't have any issues while playing - aside from the music not looping (I initially thought the music was only supposed to play at the beginning of each level).
I like the worldbuilding as well; very immersive :>
This is strangely addictive. Love the sounds and aesthetics! Bounce V43 is the point of no return lol.
It is very easy to soft-lock the game at Bounce V50+ if the player picks a target mission and a ball gets stuck ricocheting between either side of the lowest three bumpers.
I accidentally soft locked myself at level 380 by picking a target mission lol. The game surprisingly did not crash despite Bounce 251+ and ~50 active balls.
There were also some fun minor bugs that I saw:
At about Multi V5, sometimes balls would spawn outside of the striker area; at about Multi V20, this would always occur.
With the soft lock thing above, the score and score per second values can reach integer overflow and become negative (they do return to positive values though).
If the balls are fast enough (somewhere around Bounce V200, pinballs will start going through the walls.
Very fun game though. Had an absolute blast making the pinball machine sound like a slot machine instead.
Finally got the time to complete all ten levels, I wanted to give you additional kudos since I had a really fun time with all the skill variety that the different neuroverse characters had. Combining a bunch of buffs and having someone like Evil bulldoze an entire line of enemies was awesome! (Notably, Evil's Birthday + Capital Bombardment allows Evil to oneshot any enemy??)
I did run into a little soft-lock with Clear the Map levels that had both Vedal and Ellie on them. Their buff - Mechanics (the shield one) - negates damage from even the instakill spikes on enemy reinforcement squares.
This allows the player to easily block enemy waves from appearing by placing their units on these grey squares (which is easily done with Camilla, B-Bots, or even using Mini's boxes). On other level types, like evacuation, this soft-lock basically cheeses the level by just denying enemy reinforcements. However, since Clear the Map levels need to spawn their queued waves, the player can unknowingly become soft locked if all the reinforcement squares are occupied.
I didn't know this at first for level 10, so I went all the way up to turn 50 before I realized I needed enemies to spawn lol. I did eventually complete the level after allowing them to spawn through. Though, if a player filled the whole map with their units, they'll be definitely soft locked. (Edit: Actually, I forgot you can friendly fire units, so...the only way to really soft-lock is to block all squares with Layna, Cerber, Mini, and a ton of her boxes)
Again, kudos for the awesome advance wars-esque game! :>
Love the sprites and animations! Probably one of the smoothest sprite animations I've seen from all the submissions. Buff systems is pretty unique too. I just wish this game had sound.
Also, Vedal's hitbox sometimes would block me from selecting units above him, or at least make me select him instead. There were plenty of times where I overkilled a poor gymbag by accidentally using Vedal instead of a hunter lol.
I love the way you described the environment / setting! Also, the dialogue between you and Vedal was entertaining. Strangely enough, I got pretty immersed while listening to some Valiant Hearts music - not sure if that was the mood you were going for...er...In any case, I eventually got the true ending (along with Tutel and Ani endings lol).
A Perfect game (read? story?) to go through while taking a break from the other submissions.
Awesome game! Reminds me of club penguin's system defender TD minigame :). The ending was quite heartfelt as well, loved the ending art.
For anyone struggling, the upgrades are a tad bit underwhelming for their price (except maybe Vedal's range upgrades) , so it'll always be more beneficial to get an additional tower until you fill the whole screen. (I finished the waves with basically my whole screen filled with neuros lol).
