just use an emulator

The Steam users being interested in a game like this are probably more prone to keeping a friendly opinion on the release schedule. I believe that a Steam release could create a much bigger community and even inspire Fishlicka to expand development.  What are the options? Steam has the biggest game community with a wide variety of tastes in genres.  Who is interested in games like this? Players who have played similar games before, i.e., (psychedelic) indie games. Such users do not see continuous releases as something awkward, moreover, probably even likable, as they have more input in the development, also contributing to a better gaming experience for everyone, with new opinions and perspectives on the possibilities of Juice Galaxy. It's also worth mentioning the eventuality of some monetary gain, for Fishlicka creating an amazing game like this, would increase a lot.

As of this, I also see your point and I agree the Steam community can become pretty wild from time to time. But, in this instance, I don't think this will become a problem as Fishlicka is an Indie dev, and their creative freedom will always be backed by the users here on itch.io.

To summarize, I support whatever Fishlicka chooses to do. I also have a positive perspective of the future of Juice Galaxy if they choose to make a Steam release.
