Absolute love this game, the visual, procedural generation, sound effects all add up to an amazing experience. Can you explain how you did the procedural beaming up effect?? I'm super curious (please don't tell me it's exclusive to Pico-8)
Those graphics were amazing. The art style is really well done. Maybe having the items spawn less frequently at the beginning and ramp up would be better, or maybe you could add upon it to add different guns and colour palettes. but apart from that well done
I liked the premise of this game, it definitely gave me the creeps. I would suggest maybe adding text to suggest a progression, but apart from that well done!
Awesome concept, I imagine if you kept on working the game you could've make more areas to fish, a shop and also like healthbars and bosses. Otherwise love the spriting and music
My fingers broke from the amount of reeling. Awesome concept and I love the physics and art style! I with there were more fish that maybe try to push the boat, could be an addition in the future!
I found this concept actually amazing! I got pretty hooked trying to save as many as I could, and I could see how this kind of game would probably kill in a school when kids are trying to learn math or spelling (All done within 3 days!)
Initially I was a bit confused as there weren't any tutorial on the controls or how to get fuel, but once I figured that out I found this game quite fun! Love the neon theme and music! It's obviously a lot of work has gone into the shop and available upgrades.
