Really enjoyed the vibe. Very creative use of the theme and limitation. Good game.
Its very neat and style is very good and consistent. Also go Godot!
almost forgot: some itch.io links get in the way of the screen, you can remedy that by adding a fullscreen button (in itch.io/Edit game/Embed Options).
Done! Thank you
Great aesthetic. I like the small details such as the game going from day to dark. Neat to see the headlights turn on and off. I also like the music; it feels a bit more actiony, but I like it. Great work. I love to see developer's using Godot. We have a pretty awesome community full of gamers and developers called KBVE. Please feel free to join us: https://discord.gg/cjAKnUd7fj -- i'd like to hear more about your experiences with Godot.
I’m a big Godot fanboy. And thanks! You were probably the only person to notice my useless day night cycle and the headlights. 😂
Fun little game, the style kinda reminds me of the good old days of flash games
Thanks for the high praise. Some of those old flash games were iconic. :D
I like the concept but unfortunately couldn't enjoy it as I can't move the crane up and down for some reason. Tried on Chrome and Firefox.
Also the sound gets cracked when I play on Chrome.
I'm sorry you could play it. It works in all the browsers I have access to. :(
Thanks for trying
Cool!
I played to the end and I liked it.
Just a well-made game with a clear goal.
Thanks for playing! :)
Nice presented game, I like truck animation. The gameplay is solid, but found the sonar redundant as too much scrap metal makes the game to easy. I think need bit of difficulty balancing and something else under the ground that can be avoided adding more risks.
Good submission
Thanks for playing! The original intent was to add an underground mine type thing that would chase you and zap your battery but...
yep that would have been good
First of all, thank you for the shout out in the cookie question above.
Second, this is a great little game and a really good twist on the limitation. I really like your use of a sonar system and lighting to indicate what's going on without the use of UI.
The art is excellent! Well done!
Thanks Angler game twin!! Good luck!
All it takes to make it a game is a goal, challenges to achieve it and fun, it's all there in this game. I missed the spinning wheels.
Thanks for the kind words!
You're right, I could probably go back in and separate the wheels and make them spin instead. Would be a good addition. :)
i'm a WINNER
Good mechanic, the art style reminded me of motherload. Maybe a use for the scrap like a shop might be better in the future?
Nice work!
Thanks for finishing the game! Yeah, I considered a shop with sonar or magnet upgrades, but... scope got me on this one.
I’m a WINNER! Haha! (got the 40 scraps, not just boasting randomly under a game there)
Nice mechanics, and the music fits perfectly for a game centered on a big truck. Good work! :)
Thanks for playing all the way through! :D
The mechanic of collecting those scraps were very cool and satisfying, the art style is great and the audio fits the game! Great Job! :D
Thank you very much! :)
nice game! Very cool concept
Thank you! :)
Very cool - love the graphics, gameplay and music!
Unfortunately it keeps causing the “Significant memory usage” error in Safari and ends up reloading the page.
Aw, shoot thanks for letting me know. I'll play it in safari and see if I can track down the issue, although I'm not too sure how to track something like that down.
I was able to reproduce this issue in Safari on my 2023 MacMini running Safari 17.3 but not in Chrome or Edge. I think troubleshooting it might be beyond my abilities. :(
