I am glad you liked the style of my game.
I like the idea of having more challenging aspects but I do plan on adding a progression system, this system would ease the player into the more tricky scenarios and give them a sense of progression.
also, good trick you figured out

thanks for playing. I am glad you noticed my main inspiration. My other inspiration was the old phone game Paper Toss.

glad you liked the sound design.

I do plan on updating the game with some sort of progressive difficulty. Post-round upgrades are an interesting idea. I will look into them.

thanks for your feedback.

most of the time when I play games, especially smaller indie games, I skip over most of the text. I much prefer to explore the game and control my own. I only go back and read if I get confused or don't know what to do. A more visual tutorial was important for this game.

I am glad you liked switching between the different bins.

in future updates, I plan to fine-tune the spread and balance of the game

oh wow. that deep. It would be cool if after the last piece of trash, you fall onto a giant desk and a giant picks you up and throws you out just like the player did.

I thought that might have been the case I just wasn't sure

thanks for playing. I am glad you find my game satisfying.
In future updates, I plan to add the ability to choose which bin you get. but to keep that surprise feeling, I should also add a random mode that keeps the current system.

your plans sound amazing. keep up the good work

glad you liked the sound design. wanted the players to know what they did right and wrong easily.

awesome to hear you had fun. thanks for your positive feedback :D

glad to see you liked it. I plan on updating it to make it easier to tell what to collect

(1 edit)

I am so glad you Love it

Thanks :)

Glad you think so

Thanks for playing

I should add that first line to the description!
Good thinking. that way they can see what trash they need to collect
thank you :)

multiple levels is a good idea.
each round starts with a small animation showing what items to collect. but I should give the players some time to familiarize themselves with movement.

glad to see you figured it out

Glad to hear you had fun :)

Managed to Get Past The Pipes.
overall a great game
I just wish that there was a puzzle for each wind pipe, rather than brute force and hoping for the best. I was expecting to use the spare hand, wheel and toolbox I grabbed at the start but I only needed the batteries

the story, aesthetic, music and sounds are great. from the screenshot the game looks amazing, however, I could not figure out how to constantly and accurately control the bag. therefore I did not get around the mountain and experience your game

this is a really good game. the water looks amazing the controls are great the aesthetic is good.
I only have 2 complaints.
The first is when I try to upgrade one of my upgrades, it upgrades all of them. this increases the rate of progression and hence shortens the playtime. I would prefer being able to choose which upgrade and need to take more trips than to get all the upgrades for the price of one.
I would also like to upgrade the capacity of my ship. I want to eventually be able to pick up every piece of rubbish in the ocean without slowing down to the point I will arrive home before Christmas.

interesting take on the sorting mechanics. the game feels solid balanced and bug-free. the art style is pretty good

amazing work.  nice mix of a puzzle, time management and sorting all into one. it's probably just the tool but this does remind me of Portal

very nice art style, music and sound effects. fits the theme in a unique way well-rounded mechanics.

nice and chill aesthetic. it flips the idea of claw machines. usually, a claw machine gives you something new and exciting but this one gives you used old and thrown out. the saying "One man's trash is another's treasure" comes to mind.
the only downside to this game, as far as I can tell,  is that a random claw machine collection is all it is. there is no more content other than pick-up ball and hope it is a new item.

honestly, I did not play much of this game. I can tell it is a great game, well put together and it looks like you got exactly what you were aiming for. the atmosphere was perfect. And that is why I could only play a little. I was too afraid to continue 😅

I like how the trash is something you need to survive, but the trash can also be your downfall

The eerie atmosphere works well. the movement is satisfying and the enemy designs are great. I did run into an issue where I became immortal after I died from a monster. the monsters could no longer kill me. I took this opportunity to explore the map. the level design is good. however, I don't believe there was a way for me to attack the monsters back. all I could do was avoid them. I also could not see a goal other than to survive

this is a nice and relaxing claw machine game. good atmosphere and execution. I appreciate the light showing where the claw is aiming, The only downside is the speed. the game is very slow. most of the game is waiting for the claw to move.

after getting past the camera issues, this game is great. the mix of 2D and 3D works great. the atmosphere is perfect.
I am addicted to the slot machine 😅
I enjoy the Papers Please-inspired mini-game and the fish ai is perfect.

Nice and simple arcade game. I would appreciate some feedback when collecting rubbish and getting hit by the Crocs. something like a sound effect and maybe some particles.

I adore this game. Very satisfying gameplay. my only complaint is there are too many people to watch and see if they litter. maybe add a noticeable animation when they litter so it is easier to spot.

PS I love the Konami Code easter egg

nice short game. I like the art style but the movement can be a bit janky at times

nice looking game. it reminds me of the Okami game

How Do I Get Past The Wind Pipes :(

visually appealing. relaxing aesthetic. I feel the Penguin's movement was too slow for me to enjoy the gameplay.

although many games in this jam had similar sorting minigames, no game made it this satisfying and polished. great work
