I am glad you liked the style of my game.
I like the idea of having more challenging aspects but I do plan on adding a progression system, this system would ease the player into the more tricky scenarios and give them a sense of progression.
also, good trick you figured out

thanks for your feedback.
most of the time when I play games, especially smaller indie games, I skip over most of the text. I much prefer to explore the game and control my own. I only go back and read if I get confused or don't know what to do. A more visual tutorial was important for this game.
I am glad you liked switching between the different bins.
in future updates, I plan to fine-tune the spread and balance of the game
this is a really good game. the water looks amazing the controls are great the aesthetic is good.
I only have 2 complaints.
The first is when I try to upgrade one of my upgrades, it upgrades all of them. this increases the rate of progression and hence shortens the playtime. I would prefer being able to choose which upgrade and need to take more trips than to get all the upgrades for the price of one.
I would also like to upgrade the capacity of my ship. I want to eventually be able to pick up every piece of rubbish in the ocean without slowing down to the point I will arrive home before Christmas.
nice and chill aesthetic. it flips the idea of claw machines. usually, a claw machine gives you something new and exciting but this one gives you used old and thrown out. the saying "One man's trash is another's treasure" comes to mind.
the only downside to this game, as far as I can tell, is that a random claw machine collection is all it is. there is no more content other than pick-up ball and hope it is a new item.
The eerie atmosphere works well. the movement is satisfying and the enemy designs are great. I did run into an issue where I became immortal after I died from a monster. the monsters could no longer kill me. I took this opportunity to explore the map. the level design is good. however, I don't believe there was a way for me to attack the monsters back. all I could do was avoid them. I also could not see a goal other than to survive
