Humourous enough, I barely knew Fear and Hunger's endings so I took a look to see what you meant. Interesting finding on it!

Haha, the brushes are nothing but the same old pixel brushes and airbrushes if you ever need to ask on details. Rendering is by my old techniques. I appreciate the feedback!~

Thank you for the feedback! Do expect more of that in the future though haha.

I streamed and not going to lie, I finally faced my fear and finished the game let's go! Actually this story is good enough for people who never played the previous game so it doesn't interfere with my confusion. The game is great and I hope you can make more in the future.

(a little note for those reading this all my streams are marked 18+ due to my audience so it's best to avoid watching the vods if under 18.)

I streamed your game and I enjoyed it though I did mention probably my nitpicks on the chase + exploration.

Thank you very much for the compliment! I appreciate it.

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it very much.

Thank you for the feedback! Perhaps in the future when I have more ideas at hand!

About part of your comment in the video, it could have been longer like most people would have told me yeah but I had a little strict time limit so I don't want to run prolong something I shouldn't so it's quite snappy and short so it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it.

Thank you so much for the feedback! And yeah, it is very short I'm afraid even though I put a lot of time coding a lot into it. But it's to ensure I don't add more things that shouldn't cause more problem haha!

Ah, bonus rooms are always my favourites. When it came to the really old RPG Maker games, bonus rooms are very dominant in DeepSeaPrisoner's games before and I wanted to do that. I still run it as an extra information so that people can build ideas around the character.

It's not a problem! I am awfully blunt with my criticisms in games but don't feel bad! It's something that is pretty much subjective. Others might see it differently. Though yeah, I think if you want to make it longer, it has to be reasonable in story wise to justify the slowness! I like slowness if the story is captivating enough and it does not have fillers.

I'm sorry that I made you laugh with that bathtub imagery but I swear I couldn't give up that idea when I thought of it so deeply by logic.

I hope next time your stories would be improving as it goes on! I enjoyed it quite much.

This fills me with... a lot of psychological lash in my memory.

You'd think I may have been a parent but no, I experience something more. It's so dark it gave me mild depression and that's what horror feels dreading down my spine.

The text above terrifies me to just dread me a guide that something is already off from a start though I think some cutscenes like the newspaper and letters bothered me because it means I have to press a key for this. RPG Maker's flaw so I'll ignore it for now.

[stuff beyond stuff]

The things a mother can do for their child because of how their mental state goes so low is a concept I quite like. I have read a manga similar to this trope enough that she kills out of revenge. For this mother, there is a tread of hope she could have actually stopped herself to do something that she shouldn't go through and can't be possible. She wasn't close to the deep end.

But what can she do? She seemed desperate enough that she end up following through and received what she did for the cause. I enjoyed so much this is such a dreadful yet wonderful game. You deserve so much applaud for the story to manipulate this simple story into something people should've expected yet, let them immerse themselves as the mother on what she has been through.

Well besides the event rpg maker flaws, this is something I genuinely think would last longer in memory.

Delivery! It's a good game and the only things I find flawed I did comment in the VOD highlight!

The YT version will probably be up at some point if YT isn't wack.

(Also funny thing I must have fumbled saying something at the first few minutes. I was suppose to say 'I'm rating based on story'. I don't rate by default assets. I don't know how that slipped off from my mind. I was probably braining thinking.)

A good game though I might have admit the wolf parts annoyed me more than it should. At the end of the game, I just only remember Nathaniel haha. Probably a good thing!~

Thank you for the feedback and I am surprised! Your first RPG Maker that you played? I'm honored.

Most people would play the classics I admit it or the most popular RPG Maker game up to date but it makes me happy. I hope you do find more that fancies you in the future.

Thank you so much for the feedback and well, I didn't expect a video as well!

And well, it depends how you tie it but there are only a few small similarities (hence spinoff because it omly uses the same universe) as the main series runs with more indepth of the story. Chances are that I'm still continuing it to complete it but it's still not really vastly explained. There is a lot I kept behind doors haha, so I hope to use them when time ever comes.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

I am actually very proud I was able to tell a story additionally in the spinoff much better. I have been very invested in listening to how people love Silent Hill and horror games in JP areas so it's how I was able to learn storytelling by letting the people draw their conclusions.

And I love your interpretation! To be honest, the interpretation of yours is not wrong! I think it's what I went with back then. I am fascinated with ideas that I can work with and I'm glad you enjoyed it much.

Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah I get that all now to think about it, it's pretty written weird because last year, I was probably a bit too ambitious and tend to write with a flowery structure so it can sound odd to some but fine to me.

It happens a lot when I speak too so it's why I have testers at the time. I am surprised they didn't point it out but I guess it's because they knew how I talk anyway! To others, it might be different so it takes an interesting perspective! Thank you for letting me know.

Thank you for the feedback!

I was very inspired by the Path so I can't help but to use that idea while making it.

I appreciate your feedback! As for that, I usually let the userbase decide what happens to the father and mother. It's more of an open ended scenario.

Most of the stuff I run as a draw your own conclusion kind of thing.

Thank you for your feedback!

The rest of the universe is very vast! I hope to continue the main series when I get the chance.

Haha, you kind of made me smile because this game was meant to be quite obscure and I did not expect you to go that far in an hour to search all endings. I'm happy you enjoyed so far.

Spoiler (True Endings):

Actually you almost have two true endings there. Within that moment while doing the quiz and how many notes you have. If you completed all the notes, that leads you to either two true endings depending on the quiz.

You may need to fail the quiz from here and have all notes. This will lead to the second ending. Not having the notes leads to the neutral ending of course despite failing or winning the quiz.

I should actually thank you for your efforts in making the tilesets as I used most of them in my game during game jam. It really saved me time to work on every other aspects.

If you'd like to know which game then it's pretty much found in my page haha.

Man, I actually screwed up the parallax mapping for that area and accidentally coded the darkness of the edge instead of the actual map. Thank you for letting me know that, it has been fixed.

(Or at least will be fixed when time goes by. Just wait till the end of the jam.)

I'm sure that I never introduced myself before since I was just minding on finishing my game and setting preview progress but I'm another one of the people that joined this game jam. (Just that previews only in other social medias if someone followed me there.)

85% of it is completed but majority of the illustrations I did in sketches were later on scrapped since they were not fitting what were the scripts given so they'll be placed in an extra special room.

I still have more illustrations to finish and I still feel like I overdid the idea of 'keep it simple' to actually end up with a full game because my past self made tons of sprites for a prototype so I had to double this effort

I guess you can have this gif. so you can get the gist what I have completed minority of the events with. I hope I can be done before my graduation day because the game jam is ending at the same day too.

It'll get an end soon no worries! It shall be there!
