Overall, great fixes. Especially with the level scaling. But I'm not sure about a few changes.
1. Effects no longer stack: The stacking was not the issue. The issue was that every time it stacked there was a new icon. That becomes cluttered very quickly.
- One effect, one Icon, stack up turns until a limit, or infinitely.
2. The skills tree changes: I found this game a few days ago and really loved the way I could really customize each randomly selected character to fit each specific role in the team using the skill tree. But now, after just a few days playing, it's been uprooted. Everything is now up to chance. It sucks to keep getting damage skills when you really need a tanky build on a specific character for that specific run.
- This was also an issue of clutter, not really a mechanics issue. Having the skills pop up after you made a choice instead of having them all visible would have helped mitigate the clutter that was the old skill page.
- I suggest having players have a choice between two skill options from each category instead of a choice of whatever the game randomly thinks should be on that specific character.
Quality of life changes/bug fixes I'd like to see:
- An actual Title Screen.
- Save slots.
- Clothing style options.
-(Not sure if it was a feature or a bug) Skills not saving / resetting every time I close and continue the game.
- A Mobile version of the game. (I know it's not likely, but some mechanics just scream "Mobile game.")
I will give this new version a try and will comment again after sinking a few hours into it.

I figured out that the EXE file keeps disappearing from the install folder for some reason. It wouldn't reinstall from the itch.io launcher so I downloaded it manually and added it to the Itch.io install folder. Worked fine for a day. Tried launching it again today and The EXE is gone again. Will not let me reinstall again even when admin.
Would be fun if players could customize the girl.
In the previous versions I imagined her being a brunette with a blue dress.
Add that, and a horny meter that detracts from her productivity unless kept low, then you have yourself a great game.
ps. Adding rounds/days and more/different tasks to be done in time would spice up gameplay. But tweak the difficulty a bit so it doesn't become impossible to beat.
This game is cute, funny, and pretty cool. The only problem is it ends too soon.
This game needs an infinite mode!
I was thinking like whatever card you try that isn't one specific card (or cards) randomly chosen per game would end in the gunman getting away, You'll have to Survive many rounds to figure out which card to use each time you play.
How about you just give all items higher durability? Or make weapons do a lot more damage?
Weapon degradation in this game is horribly debilitating.
it's annoying having to carry around a dozen weapons just to burn through them all in just five enemies.
Picking up other weapons and continuing the fight is doable, but not if you're a dex build dagger oriented class. You'll do no damage at all.
Even worse is your bow breaking in the middle of a battle with a bunch of enemies still coming for you.
So far Orc Berserkers and Fallen knights, are the only classes that i had better success with.
That means you might be a little too biased in play testing.
