I'll speak for myself, but probably some other could find it relevant tho: There are so many engines people are comfortable using that it make big sense of releasing asset sets non-linked to any specific engine. Still, for you, it probably makes more sense to keep everything in your MonMae engine as it make the process of making a pokemon-like game way easier on GameMaker :)
As much I could love using MonMae, I'm a Unity developer and don't want to spend time switching engine ^^'
But! If it's a big enough argument for you, count me as a customer for every MonMae-externalized asset packs you could release :p

Hey Pupkin! I made this game using your asset pack! Thank a lot for it :D https://kassout.itch.io/labzer (Credits are coming, just need to end some stuffs around my game and it will be my next top priority ^^)
The first thing the game came from is the idea of solving puzzles to "cure" your mind like a metaphor for path from mental health issues to wellness. As that, we named it "darkout", the journey from obscurity to light :)
As we had only 9 days to make the game, we focused on our gameplay mechanisms and didn't had time to put some narration or things that could show our way of thinking the game itself.
