Thank you!
The eyes in the background are my fav part. lol
Ya, I ran out of time to really flesh something out for the bullet sfx so I threw in some audio from a package I bought years ago.
It was the only sound that was in the right range where I could hear a bullet going off and not mistake it for an environment noise.
I def need to get my hands on new sfx's.
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the feedback.
Yes it was a challenge trying to balance the game colors so the player and bullets wouldn't get lost in the background.
I didn't make it easy on myself by also having the backgrounds be animated. If I had more time I'd like to experiment with shaders and vfx, but I'm excited to learn more next time.
Thank you for the kind words!
Yeah, I'm not a fan of bullet hells either, but I got this idea stuck in my head of making a game about the final boss.
Then I added the ring bullet and it took off from there.
Yes, I'm really loving godot so far! I'm a newbie game dev that started out trying to learn unity, but it kind of goes over my head.
Godot does a good job of simplifying things. I always say if I can do it, anybody can. lol
