You're spot on about the lead synth! I use it a lot, love how it can cut through almost anything I put under it. Only thing is there's two of them here, if you can hear it there's one made in Vital that's to the left and another made in Harmless that's a little to the right, they're usually just doing octaves but every now and then they harmonize a little and you can tell (or at least I hope so lmao)

why not have 1 synth when you can have 2 right? that's like 100% more synth per synth!

I appreciate that! I wrote it as 4/4, then 9/8 from the moment the drums start until it goes back to 4/4 at the end (with some timey curve balls here and there too). I tried putting the main theme in 9/8 at the end, but it didn't work out too well lol.

I'm happy you caught that! the little Merry-go-round of life quote helped me a bunch when I felt like I was out of ideas. That song means so much to me.

That's right! it's in 9/8 from the moment the drums come in up until it goes back to 4/4 for the main theme at the end. But even then I think I ate a couple 8th notes there somewhere, so don't trust that 4/4 too much LMAO
