currently nodes can’t be duplicated but this is planned

Yes, to copy a mesh, click the Part in the Nodes panel which you want to copy the mesh to, then drag the Part you want to copy the mesh from onto the “Edit Mesh” button in the viewport. Then hit Apply in the mesh editor to apply the copied mesh

I’m sorry to hear, sadly this is neccesary to try to offset financial losses I’ve had recently that otherwise would have made continued development impossible.

I realise that I never responded to your question about my cat, her name is Ponko, she's doing very well. I've managed to get her to a vet and get her inside. She's now an indoor cat who is incredibly spoiled.

Would it be possible to add said character or would that be too much work considering the sheer number of fonts

you should be able to use VCV Host to host the VST version. I don’t currently have plans for a native VCV Rack version.

try holding down Ctrl while adding vertices

Please post feature requests on our GitHub! This helps me organise and triage feature requests and issues and makes it a lot more manageable.

You can find the feature request form here.

the fonts, from what I can tell are lacking the character ø/Ø to support Danish.

you’ll have to set the sorting to be a higher value than the head, try setting the ears to 20.

the Z order of Parts will change the drawing order,  the lower the Z sorting the closer to the camera, the higher the z sorting the further away.

GitHub version has a 10 second nag screen and a buy button on the start screen. In the future I may bundle some extras with the paid version, but all core features of Inochi2D will be free.

Additionally, the paid version can be auto-updated by the itch.io launcher for you.

update is close to done, but there’s a blocker I hit into when it comes to adding the ability for end users to change the animation

Nu:Cat is a lot like MeowSynth, it’s just written with a new codebase in D, is VST3 and supports 64 bit systems. Additionally it will support switching out the cat animation in the next update im working on.

this is a known issue caused by some changes SDL2 made. I’m currently taking a break from working on Inochi2D due to burnout but when I return I will be fixing this issue and updating the release.

macOS version is now officially released! Inochi Session will follow suit in November

Nightly builds for Inochi Creator are now available including builds for macOS

Feel free to give it a shot and see how it goes

An update, with the 0.7.4 update coming out later this month, the official macOS package will be released.
The package supports both intel and apple silicon based devices.

Preview of how that's going.

support for macOS is planned, just have some issues to iron out first.

If you’re adventurous you can compile a build for macOS yourself. But yeah, we still need to sort out packaging and whether we can afford to sign the application with apple

Nice segfault simulator :^)

You need to be in the shadow of a house to transform in to a human.

Yeah, a couple of bugs i didn't get fixed in time.
