I'm not sure why, it's just false positives though as there's no virus or anything attached and is just a "unknown publisher" warning. I've heard of others having to bypass the warning, but I haven't heard of getting multiple warnings before. From what I've been seeing, the process of "signing" a program isn't free and takes some time so I haven't done that for Gyakuten Live yet.

(I should add that if you're on Windows 10 or so, you can download despite the warning by clicking "more info" first and then choosing "run anyway")

Hello! Thank you for playing. I'm glad people who are not familiar with Love Live are enjoying it, since this was primarily created for Love Live fans but meant to be playable by everyone.

"School Idols" don't exist in real life, in the Love Live universe they're essentially students who form self-managed "idol groups" as extracurricular activities.

The Love Live series is Japanese, but this game is originally written in English. Some episodes have been translated into other languages, including Japanese.

That's a new one, I haven't heard of that happening in the two years this game has been up. I'll post it on my Twitter and see if anyone else has the issue. Is it caused by the most recent version 3.0.7?

You have sound effects on, correct? Voice blips and sound effects are different things. Exclamations like "Take That" and "Objection" are under the "sound effects" category, not "voice blips" category if you have one of those turned off.

Maybe! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for your help!

I think it says that because I'm not like a well-known publisher and didn't "virtually sign" the .exe (it costs money to do so). It's happened to certain people for previous versions as well. Rest assured there's no virus in it, and itch.io apparently screens them for viruses anyway. I have no interest in infecting anyone's computers.

Thank you so much! And don't worry too much about donations, your support and word of mouth is more than enough!

I see what the problem is, it's a bug. Apologies for the inconvenience, I'll have it fixed this weekend!

Strange but I'm glad it's working now!

Thank you for letting me know, I will have it fixed in 3.0.3. And I'm glad it seems to be working for you now. Did you find out what the error ultimately was about?

Also, I am planning to add mid-episode select as soon as I can get the achievements system in!

Is this the third cross-examination in the final day trial part 2? It has been fixed in a silent update to 3.0.1. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'll make a post to my Twitter to see if anyone else is having the issue. Is it happening every single time you try to load a file or is it only happening after a certain series of inputs?

I can't seem to recreate this error. My saving and loading have been fine. Perhaps you have files from an older version of the game? If so, navigate to C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Gyakuten_Live_ and delete or remove the problematic files.

Thank you for letting me know!

2%!

Sure, go ahead!

Thank you! I watched your stream and you guys were very enjoyable to watch. I hope you enjoy the rest!

I accidentally uploaded a test version. Oops.

The download is fixed. Thanks for letting me know. Try downloading it again now!

Oh yes of course. I only have one chapter done so far but I want to do more chapters that start exploring an original, overarching storyline. Hopefully that fits the bill.

It's a fangame using characters from the Love Live! series. They are pre-established characters so admittedly it's more for the fans of that franchise, but I felt like I wanted to tell a story (I consider this a fanfic above anything).

Yes, the game is meant to be lighthearted and humorous (for now) but not necessarily a satire of AA.

Gyakuten Live! is a Love Live fangame with Ace Attorney-style gameplay. Travel through the adventures of your favourite school idols as you solve mysteries and prove the innocence of your clients. Currently has: 1 case, with more on the way!

Case 1 ~ Birth of a Turnabout

On Ayumu's birthday, an unknown person leaves her a sabotaged gift that ruins her day. The finger is pointed at resident prankster Nakasu Kasumi - but Yu has taken up the task of turning this seemingly-hopeless case around!

This is my first time making a game. Feedback would be appreciated. I actually posted this almost a month ago but didn't think to post to the community about it. Nearly all the assets, from the artwork to the backgrounds to the music to the animation to the UI, are made from scratch.

Check it out!
