Hmmm .. I got stuck on the dad fight and can only jump, but none of the arrow keys worked.

On my first playthrough, I actually wasn't able to break the crates at all. In fact, I coudn't break the crate at the top left of the beginning of the stage as well. It had me really puzzled on why I can't proceed with the game until I restarted and found out that I can break those crates.

Strange things happen when you restart (maybe it's got something to do with me losing focus on the game's window on the first time I ran the game).

Pretty neat setting and clean graphics. Wished there were more reason to explore other than to find dead ends, and was hoping for some shortcuts after I got the earth fairy to get me back to the next area.

It also seems like I was able to activate wind magic early to make combo magic even without getting the wind fairy, then again, that didn't progress the story. Just made the damage a little bit more bearable.

My critic would be to use the screen flash and shakes less frequently or to have an accessibility option. I have really photosensitive eyes and dark into flashes while casting spells actually hurts my eyes. Not going to hold that against you guys in the game's rating, but something for you to think about in the future.

It's got nice GBA feels to the graphics and the sound, but man is the gameplay unforgiving.

Those hitboxes for the spikes are are huge and when I'm walking or flying from the ground that appears to be at the same height of those spikes, I'm expected to be able to clear it and not die. The initial momentum of the flight movement is pretty fast as well, making it very difficult to get through spikes of 2 tiles gap.

I feel like making it a bit more accessible by reducing the spike's hitbox would serve this game well.

There are also some weird bugs where I wasn't able to get the melee upgrade in my first playthrough, but after resetting the game, I can obtain that upgrade. Making games be hard yo!

It was short and sweet. The setting is simple yet effective.

Would have liked some visual indicator that I am damaging those big shadows and the Q trampoline kind of a weird mechanic in a sense that the name didn't really fit it. Trampoline in my mind makes me think that I have to be within that area to use that skill and not a super jump I can use anywhere.

Other than those, a great game.

This is so immersive. The graphics, sound and the environment fits so well.

Throw and double jump take a bit of time to get used to. It also took me a while to figure out that I needed to throw stuff to progress. The HP makes it very unforgiving as well. Would have wanted some more interaction with the keys throughout the exploration to make me feel like getting those keys had some use, but overall a great game!

Interesting setting and character design. Loving the final boss's final laugh track.

I feel like there are some level designs that can be improved to incorporate that intended wall jump mechanic.

Loving the game's visual design. The player's movement and momentum is very hard to control, making some of the jumps very frustrating to play. This game would have a lot of potential if the level design can match the speed & momentum of the player.
