You need them to trust you, you can do that by raising their reputation. To do so you can either top or bottom them so just have sex with them.

(sorry if it doesn't make any sense) I finished after having a panic attack school and Tom was there so idk if I'm on the Tom route. ik so far Harold's and Spencer's routes are finished and Darius's is almost done too I think.

1. I think you need high strength and endurance (not really sure the required stats)

2. You can talk to Rhot about the hunting contest, and you need to talk to bernard abou  starting a festival in barshade(festival is always on Sundays from 12:00-22:00)

3. I don't think it does 

4. You need to find Ste at Viccoria's cave after saving Korg, then take him to barshade after doing some of his quest. 

I'm glad to have finished Spencer's, Darius's, and Harold's routes (working on Chester and Dozer) because they were perfect, except Darius's like why you gotta make my heart sink like that >:(, nah jk:). (Still tho like why) dynewulf and others, you guys have made an excellent game, can't wait for when those routes extend, if they are.
