Yeah it's a simple horror experience made for the Synty Spooky Jam 2024. You press space to interact (close lift, turn on lights etc). I wanted to add more interactions but ran out of time because I focused on the scares. The whole game is less than 10 minutes but I really wanted to focus on the atmosphere.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll consider it for the post game jam version.

Thanks so much Ray

Great use of animations. I liked your ideas around twitch integration. Only down side is that the player's attacks feel nerfed... and as such not as impactful as I'd like. I'd love for the player to be a bad ass, that one shots most enemies.

I love the skeleton being shown when the player wasn't visible. Interesting setting. Camera usage made me think of resident evil. Well done!

The use of WFC for procedural generation was really cool. Well done on an interesting game. Good job

Really good use of the Synty assets. Enjoyed your use of post processing when the player is attacked. Great environment. An eerie soundtrack or even the sounds of wildlife (crickets etc) would add so much to the vibe.

Congrats on releasing your first project - well done :)

Are you able to upload a WebGL version? Windows Defender did not like the download... it's probably a false positive but gotta be sure!

This is a really well made and polished game. I'm surprised by the scope of the content included. Well done! The only thing I'd fix is the fact that Zombies can still attack you while you are talking to NPCs and while you're in the Inventory.
Overall, great job!!!

Fantastic music. I do like the throwback to the horror villain names. The game loop and how the story telling elements are a nice touch. The only improvement I'd make is to the jump scares - they need audio to sell them (sting and attack sound). Otherwise, fantastic job. Well Done!

thanks so much for the positive feedback. I have a couple ideas on how to expand this. I think it would work really well in VR and with a grittier art style. Also some procedural elements would be cool.

Thanks so much for playing my game.

Hi where isn't it working? where are you trying to play it.

Thank you ;)

thanks so much

Thanks so much for the feedback. I agree wholeheartedly with the game feel comments. But as you mention, making a game in 7 days is hard enough: I did this in 6 evenings while working a full time software dev job during the day. I appreciate the time you've taken to write the feedback and I'll give MOAR, eventually.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm adding some quality of life features for the post JAM version. Making the new weapons visible is high up on the list

Nice. I enjoy the tunes.

Thanks so much. I made the music in like two hours haha

gotta love the classic Wilhelm scream

This is sick. Punishing but awesome
