That was a very enjoyable read! I was very engrossed in the bits of information going on in the background, such as whatever happened to Layne and what kind of relationship she and Mace had.

(Spoilers)

The one issue I have with it is the pacing of the sex scene between Callum and Mace. They've known each other for years, are close enough that Cal was essentially living with Mace's family at one point after being kicked out, I assume nothing sexual had ever happened between them either, yet there are only two lines acknowledging how monumental this moment will be for their relationship, and Callum's feelings towards it happening.

I assume that's partly due to being a one off, and feeling limited about how much time should be dedicated to that moment between them, which I definitely understand. But given the story is so character driven, I feel like it could've benefited a lot from slowing down and really getting into what that moment means for the two of them.

Mace was a really charming guy! And I loved the art, especially the piece of Mace as he's about to use his shotgun.

I had no idea this visual novel was in the works, from my perspective, it kinda just showed up out of nowhere two hours ago, so I went in with no expectations and it did not disappoint, if anything, it left me wanting more.

Great job, definitely worth a read and a recommendation.

I love you so much, Konpeito. You have my lifelong devotion and loyalty.

I love you.

Do you have permission from the original artist to use this background in your project?

He isn't credited anywhere on the page.

May I ask where you got these backgrounds from?

May I ask where you got these backgrounds from?

Minoanon + Eddio, and Roddo + Alpha0, what a lineup.

Really glad to see I finally get to financially support a project of yours.

Especially excited about how the Bloodborne influence will show up in Devil's Gambit. We've got a few projects in the niche that tackle eldritch horror, Soulcreek and its amazing sound design instantly comes to mind for example, but I'm aching for the visual aesthetic of eldritch horror. I want the tentacles, the eyes in places they shouldn't be. I want an incomprehensible being with too many limbs to comprehend and a man permanently physically scarred from being exposed  to its mere existence.

That one Cleaved character concept art we got from Haps a few months ago gave me hope that we were getting closer to a project with exactly that, but it ended up being scrapped. I know Nerus has tentacles in it, so I'm quite optimistic and excited about what Devil's Gambit might bring.

We've got two of the best writers in the community working alongside two of the best artists in the community, 3 of which all have experience with VN development. November is gonna be a great month for sure.

I want you to know how much I love this project. I liveread it on a server dedicated to visual novels when I first found it, and for an hour and a half everybody there was smitten with HubbyBot and your project.

We still talk about it all the time! Cause we all love how genuine and passionate it is, it's so easy to see how much you enjoyed working on this and how much you love the themes it deals with.

We'll love anything you put out about this universe, that I'm sure of, but if you want a higher budget, definitely start asking for donations to help towards that.

Aw, you're gonna make me blush with those special thanks.

Oh no no, don't worry haha You didn't upset me at all. It was all in good fun, I enjoyed the live read a lot.

Made me buy a plant just to cope. 5/5

I don't have any questions about the update as I'd rather go in as blind as possible, but I just wanna say how incredibly excited I am for it! The story of Storm and P is by far the second most interesting and captivating part of Minotaur Hotel for me and I love them as characters, so complex.

Thank you and everyone on the dev team for making my favourite piece of literature.

The link worked, thank you very much.

Hey, no worries about taking long, it's definitely worth the wait! I really appreciate you doing this.

Unfortunately, when I click the widget I get a 404 error.

I'm on Windows. If it's not too much trouble I'd love having all of them! Really wanna see the evolution of the game and the changes each build brought.

Thank you so much!

I'm gonna be honest and just admit that I'm obsessed with this game. I've played it back to back as every single background, tried every single combination of guests possible and seen their interactions with every group scene and project scene I could think of. I've done my best to see all the content except going codediving.

I really would like being able to read the previous builds and see how the game has changed over time, especially since I know there was quite a change of tone at one point where it was decided the story should be more serious.

Is there any way I could do that or are previous builds just gone forever?
