Hey Diogo! Cameron of Shanton Productions! Really looking forward to the jam. Working on a short adventure that will take place in the unmapped areas of tar ponds and mesas east of Mother's Vale! It'll act as a fun way to bring players into Mother's Vale, with unique monsters and some (hopefully) cinematic fight (and flight!) sequences!
The module can be found here: https://lateroflife.itch.io/the-laboratory-of-ord
The Laboratory of Ord is an old-school adventure designed to be easily dropped into existing campaigns. The adventure module is aimed at groups of player levels 1 - 3, and provides modest mundane and magical loot as a reward for it's difficulty.
The dungeon consists of two floors, with 11 rooms for adventurers to explore. The Laboratory of Ord has within it a self-contained mystery for players to piece together and solve, centered around the maddened sorcerer Thorngage Ord. Rumors of mass disappearances have plagued the local countryside, and many believe that Ord is to blame.
To make the process of adapting the dungeon into existing campaign settings easier for Referee's and Game Master's, specific details about the location and characters at the heart of the adventure are left purposefully vague. This gives game-runners the freedom to adapt and alter the dungeon on a case-by-case basis.
Hi everybody!
Today is the (EARLY) day, Basic Edition 1.1 and the Referee's Tools are available for download now for free! Along side these two major releases is another one I'm excited about: the official Runners Ruleset character sheet! Grammybread did some amazing work putting together the character sheet and ensuring it is home-printer friendly. The content can be found here: https://lateroflife.itch.io/the-runners-ruleset-basic-edition.
The changes made to the Basic Edition in 1.1 are primarily grammatical: cleaning up punctuation, condensing length sentences, removing spelling errors, and rearranging format stuff. The core of the game remains the same, but things should be more clear now.
The Referee's Tools contain a number of roll tables and some additional advice on creating quests, dungeons, and settlements for use with the ruleset. There is also a playable adventure included at the end of the manual.
The next few manuals will be released in the coming weeks: the Magical Items manual, a collection of drop-in adventures, and an official campaign setting named... Frogweep County!
I will be posting updates on my progress at my BlogSpot, found here: therunnersruleset.blogspot.com.
Thank you all so much for your support,
- Cameron
Hi all, I've just released my first solo tabletop RPG ruleset, which can be found here: https://lateroflife.itch.io/the-runners-ruleset-basic-edition
Authors Note: this ruleset is based on the Tunnel Goons game system with major additions and fundamental changes (by Nate Treme, Tunnel Goons by Highland Paranormal Society).
The Runners Ruleset Basic Edition is a rules lite 2d6-based tabletop roleplaying game designed to be picked up and played without a session zero.
Planned future additions include an expanded combat system, additional item choices, a collection of magical items to use in game, and a collection of GM's tools. Additionally, a collection of adventures and an official campaign setting will be released.
