I think I encountered a bug with breaking the game by hitting the exit button once I died :D

Awesome job completing the game and submitting on time, and extra kudos for doing the majority of asset creation during the jam; especially alone! Nice and simple game, but I'll agree with others - killing rats is cool but I felt bad for gassing the poor turtle..

Thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed my entry!

No disrespect meant; I only have so much time and wasn't able to get to your game until today.

I have to agree with Morphann -  I resorted to cheesing the enemies and pre-firing because of their laser beam like aim. Cool entry for a jam game and I especially like the slow down effect. I just wish it didn't make me slower as well haha.  Also agree that music and sfx would've elevated the experience a lot. Congrats on completing a project and submitting on time!

Thank you!!

Thank you much!

Thanks for stopping by and for such kind words! Believe it not, I bumped that audio stream by 2 db as one of my final tweaks before submitting 😂

Thanks so much, appreciate the kind words!

Haha, thanks ToddLong!

Thank you!! I'll certainly take gameplay that isn't too bad :)

Much appreciated, thank you for giving it a shot!

Thanks so much!!

You bet, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the kind words! However - you are an absolute legend for playing every game in the jam!

Great to hear, Sout, really appreciate the feedback!

Thanks so much, Flowy!! You're too kind :)

Thanks so much for the kind words! :)

Thank you!!

Thanks, Crystel_Guy, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience!

Thanks so much!

Thanks! I'll be sure to check out Toxic Time :)

Thanks so much, I spent way too much time on that. I couldn't help myself!

Thanks, Morphann!

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I haven't heard of that, I'll have to check it out.

Holy smokes, you did this all during the jam? I'm very jealous! Sure, it's unpolished and a bit rough around the edges but it's a game jam. To me, I can't believe how much depth and overall level of polish and detail is here. Best way I can say it is this is a game jam game that definitely doesn't feel like a game jam game. Kudos to you!

Congratulations on completing a project and getting it submitted in time! The simple art style and limited palette made this easy on the eyes for me, and I really enjoyed the music you chose too! I feel like it takes way too long to collect the poison cloud things. I.e. I feel like I'd have more fun collecting more ghosts as opposed whittling them down very slowly over time. Something about the camera felt a bit off as well but I can't quite put my finger on it.

This is nightmare fuel for me but at least I get the satisfaction of smacking some spiders! Awesome job completing the project and submitting on time! Definitely agree with @crazyhoundgamedesign regarding atmosphere building with limited assets.

Congratulations on completing the project and submitting on time! This honestly reminds of the first game I ever made years ago when learning C++. Only mine was simply if/else statements and text output - aka super lame in comparison to yours!

Awesome job completing a project and submitting on time! I'm struggling to understand the poison theme, though. It honestly just felt like a Tetris mashed with Unpacking haha. Getting everything slotted in just right is always so very satisfying.

Awesome job successfully completing your first jam, Breno! You've received a fair amount of constructive criticism, perhaps some even a little harsh considering it's a jam. I will agree with the overall visual theme being rather disjointed and jarring. Don't take this the wrong way, but it very much had a prototype feel to it. Which is fine, especially for a jam. I get the impression you poured most of your energy in the mechanics, so I'll tip my hat to you for having an idea and being able to bring it to life! Keep making games and having fun! :)

Kudos on finishing a project and submitting on time! As others have said, the resolution seems weird and was strangely somewhat taxing on my system.

Interesting sound effects lol. The theme interpretation isn't for me, but it's definitely creative!

I'm not sure I understand how the poisoning mechanic works. Does it have anything to do with what looks like to be a particle emitter? At any rate, I was able to fumble my way through and successfully poison the king, which he was oddly happy about lol. Kudos for finishing and submitting a project on time, doubly so for making everything during the span of the jam!

Awesome job completing the game and submitting on time! Your interpretation of the theme was a touch disturbing but the song was funny and definitely my favorite aspect.

Congrats on finishing a project and submitting on time! The movement felt way too slow and the jump was too extreme for my tastes, and I also had a hard time figuring out what to do. Keep making games and getting more experience!

Nice simple little game that was unexpectedly satisfying, especially killing the spiders haha. Really cool art style, with some elements reminding me of Don't Starve. I was expected to be penalized for misclicks, either by literally missing or using the wrong attack. Thankfully not so and I score a cool 55! Congrats to both of you for finishing a project and submitting on time!

Yay, I survived the hell chamber! Awesome job completing the game and getting it submitted by the deadline, extra kudos for succeeding in your first jam! Not sure if it was intentional but I having one of the poison patterns kinda look like radiation symbol was a nice touch :)

Oof, I had to back out of this one because I couldn't handle the mouse being inverted. Sadly there was no option to change it :( Congrats on completing the game and getting it submitted prior to the deadline, though! You gained valuable experience for next time :)

Sorry, I wanted to show your game some love but I won't download and run random executables. Consider making your games playable in the browser to reach a wider audience!
