It does work, there's just currently no visual queue. Just click buttons on your keyboard after clicking it and it should work then.

Thank you for the feedback :)

The monsters are handled locally by design simply because there wasn't enough time to do it any other way

I love that lamp! What a high quality lamp...

I really like this game! It's pretty and I had a good time driving along

Alrighty this game is pretty great! Obviously great theme, but it's surprisingly fun too

Thank you! All of your points have been noted :)

Oh no that level was definitely too much of a difficulty jump! I only wish I realized that sooner :,)

Great job artists! This game is really pretty

This is pretty impressive! First time I've seen rpg maker be used in a jam before and it did make me laugh several times... so yeah even though I couldn't figure out how to trigger the dragon fight, I'm pretty content!

But seriously huge props to the people who made the opening segment

The art and audio has no right being as good as it is! Plus great theme, this is bring rated pretty highly :)

(It would be really nice though if the timer didn't start until you leave the first room, that way the player isn't penalized for taking a moment to figure out the controls)

(actually I just realized that I accidentally left a script that was only meant for debugging on which causes the song to skip straight to the loudest part instead of building up over time.... whoops)

Thank you! I will admit that that level is too vague for where it is in the level, but hindsight is a tricky thing

but hey if you want to you know... cheat the system, I know a way around the level ;) (just hold "P" for 5 seconds then click "5" to skip to the level after it)

:,D thank you....

but yeah I do admit that the reflection level was probably placed poorly. Ah well, the best I can do is take notes and move on so thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! I have noted that down and shall keep that in mind next time :)

Thank you! :D

Thanks! I really appreciate it :D

Why thank you very much! honestly all credit for the sound goes to my brother. as for the future I'm not sure about new mechanics but I want to improve the polishing at least. (none of the bushes are visible so I want to fix that, there is an annoying exploit where hugging the game boundaries practically makes you immortal, and the difficulty scaling was really haphazardly done to name a few) but I cant update it until the review period is over so for now just thank you!

the title is pretty accurate I'll give you that.... (I can't open it)

Honestly the biggest thing I have to congratulate the marketing, the title screen is very well done and of course people are going to click on a game about extra credits!

(1 edit)

This is really cool! graphics look nice, music is sweet, and the way you linked the enemy drops and shops to the player's health  is really creative and works well. Honestly if you do continue to expand this the only real thing that could use some work would be polishing up the mechanics. (Some quick pointers I would recommend is keep enemies from spawning on/ right next to the player,  (maybe) open the doors when the boss is killed (I wasn't done exploring, though this one isnt needed), fix the esc button, and offer a little explanation on how/why you win because I beat it 3 times and I'm still not quite sure what causes that) but other than those pretty nitpicky hiccups great job, especially for three days!

simple, short, and yet... entertaining. The ragdoll physics are pretty well made too so good job.

I am surprised you had the time to implement a boss, it is kind of easier to just tank him but still, very impressive!
