To be fair you've not missed much, all you would do once you have the ruby and key is I teract with the pedestal next to the big door to place the ruby and then I teract with the door.. there is a little bit of story and then the game resets

Yeah we didn't have much time to expand on it as it was for a game jam. It we're adding it to our metroidvania so we'll have all those quality of life features!

I really didn't want it too be too difficult as you want it to be accessible for everyone but showcase the mechanics could be expanded upon!

Agreed Id love to work on this and come up with even more powers that use the shadow and light mechanic! Id love to see the lantern be placed in specific places to cast shadows on walls that allow the shadow to navigate and things like that! The possibilities are endless!

i would update that going forward tbh as well as adding controller support! I usually play on controller so using a keyboard isnt something i know much about gaming with haha

Thanks you for playing!!!  Yeah we had a main menu but on the final build it stopped working *eek* so we had to cut it... wed love to expand on it further though for sure! and I do agree about the controls... i typically only play games with a controller so it was wierd for me to adjust too. <3

yeah we added that as a way to cheese it and see the ening as its a bit of a hard boss and even i struggle wiht it as im BAD xD

who knows, maybe that day will come

yeahhhh, we made it tricky just as its a game jam, if we develop it further well make some easier bosses leadin up to it and include upgrades for the player

Yeah, we forgot to make it so the bullets couldn't collider with each other... one button click would have fixed that but ahh well haha xD Is the way of the game jam xD
