You're welcome ! Glad you enjoyed it. I'll be sure to play yours as well soon

You should just be able to select one of your own territories with a mouse click, and then click an enemy territory bordering it. You can view the rules and controls at any time by clicking help in the top left corner.

I thought this game was awesome. And it's very clear loads of work has gone into it. I noticed a couple bugs which have been mentioned already but they didnt take away from my overall enjoyment. The art of the game was a strongpoint for me and it had some good mechanics and a nice feel to it as well. Great work

I really enjoyed playing this game. Some great ideas in there, and I love the way you've fused a classic mini game with a larger one, this works well for a crafting game

Thanks for the review Avis. Really glad you liked the game ! First off, it wasn't all me, I worked with a 3d modeller and had someone help with the sound too. I basically did the deisgn, animation and code. Good spot with the shortcut ! I'll get that removed for the post jam release. And the frame rate should be easy to sort too, I completely ran out of time to optimize it and there are way too many actors in the level at once ! Looking forward to playing yours too, I'm gonna give them all a play through soon

Hi Everyone. Please note that this game is an unfinished prototype, as I ran out of time to design puzzles with all of Alpho's crafted tools. That said it should still be playable. Also, I had to make a quick update after submission to get rid of a couple of bugs.

Thanks for checking out our game. To be honest I ran into some big issues at the end and ran out of time for testing. Oh well, lesson learned ! I'll be sure to check out your game too, i'm gonna sit down and play them all when I get the chance.

Hey CoalFire. First off, thanks for taking the time to play and review our game - it has been invaluable listening to your feedback. I was the designer and programmer on this project and to be honest I really ran out of time with this and so didnt get to properly finish it or playtest it much. (This was my first game jam and actually first time finishing a project.) I have taken your experience on board and made some changes that should make it more playable, so if you can find the time to give this another go that'd be awesome.

Most of the mechanics are designed now - signal jammer, laser, electrifier, jet pack and magnet module. Soon work starts on the level design !

Quick update, I've been working on fleshing out the crafting system today and I've managed to get the upgrade station functionality mostly built. Im using a dynamic render target texture and a screen capture to create the inventory effect. Also made a function which detects the players screen size and adjusts the render texture size.

Albedo has finished work on the character today and I've been spending some time doing the rigging ! Really happy happy with how this is looking right now

We are three designers who are working together for the first time on this Jam. Theres Alola - our sound designer, Albedo - our 3d artist - and myself who'll be doing the animation and code.

Alpho is a sentient robot engineer, who spends each day toiling on a production line at one of (Insert evil sounding name here)-corps factories.

The game opens as a mysterious near-disaster occurs on alpho's production line, and he is sent to have his alpha drive reset.
On the way to the reset facility Alpho see's a chance to escape, and takes it.

This is where the player takes over, and is tasked with guiding Alpho through a number of puzzle-based areas in order to escape.

Alpho is a genius of engineering, capable of crafting gadgets and upgrading his systems to overcome challenges. He can dismantle machine parts, use tools to destroy walls, use gadgets to deactivate drones and use stealth to avoid being detected.

He will need all of these skills if he is to escape the factory and find his way to freedom.
