This song is SO good. I love this song.

Not as done as I would have liked to be at this stage. In part due to being overly ambitious, but mostly for poor discipline. I was too easily distracted with other projects, and didn't dedicate sufficient focus to polishing this to where I wanted it. I wonder how many times I'll have to learn this lesson before it sticks. Anyways, I'm really happy with the musculature on the back, and how the severed faces nailed to his shield turned out.

Fun little game. I would really like it if there was a visual indicator for upgrades on tiles.

Great aesthetics. Promising start to a game. I hope you guys develop it more!

One session in Blender, and it's starting to take shape.

Thank you!

I took a short break to do SCREAM JAM 2024, and came back to this with the fresh set of eyes I needed to put all the pieces together.

Very cool.

This is my first jam, and the first game I've "finished". I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to do more.

The player has health indicated by the three baseballs in the corner. I'll definitely work to make this clearer in the future. Making a gameover screen totally slipped my mind.

Thank you so much for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I've started with the front view of my turn sheet, but, for me, the transition from graphite to digital always leaves a little to be desired. I feel that I'm well trained in leaning into the ambiguity of pencil lines, which means I end up with unclear perspectives and impossible geometry. I'll share where I'm at with that, even though I'm not close to being finished, just for the sake of completeness.

There's definitely a lot I see that I want to touch up or change completely before I move into Blender, but the proportions are basically how I want them. I decided to change the horse helmet from the visor to eye-holes because it makes more sense and is more "historically accurate" (You know, as much as a man stitched to a horse in a suit of full plate armor can be historically accurate. There must be no shortage of metal where he's from.) But I'm not sure I like the change.

I'll be back when I have more to share.

I immediately knew I wanted to create a character model with a non-standard configuration of limbs, to try something different. After thinking for a while and doodling, I settled on the idea of a necromantic construct called a Pseudocentaur.
