Stunning game. I just finished it with save states (I just had to see all the graphics). Those heat seeking birds in level two are no joke. Any plans to make more levels in the future? I would love to see some different background types with your incredible art skills. Here's hoping but either way thanks so much for dropping such a great surprise to start 2025!

Thanks for the kinds words. I deliberately made it tough since I knew that we'd only have this one level demo for quite awhile so thought I'd make it difficult to get through quickly. For the hopefully future full game I plan to decrease the difficulty for this first level in the ways you suggested. I also had the powerups like the 3 way and the nuclear plasma later on time out after awhile just to give the player a taste of them. In the full game you'll probably be able to stockpile them and use them whenever you want. Thanks again for playing and rating and I enjoyed your game too!
Thank you for the kind words. Quite a lot of people liked the first level but I didn't get much response to the second level. My daughter did most of the graphics for level one but it's hard to get her motivated to do more these days. Maybe after I finish my new game Anguish and if my daughter has a change of heart I will return to Silhouette Threat one day.
No problem. No ECS version unfortunately because I like to have at least 3 levels of overlapping parallax in all the levels and with Scorpion Engine that is currently only doable with AGA and the 8 64 pixel wide sprites. Maybe in the future if dual playfield parallax is added to Scorpion then I could try it.

A WIP playable demo of an action platformer for the Amiga 1200 or Amiga 4000 using Scorpion Engine. My 12 year old daughter has helped me with a lot of the art and with the gamce concept. A girl has fallen into a world full of sihouettes and armed only with her umbrella has to take out the enemies and collect the raindrops needed to open the portal back to her land. In this first demo you have to collect 5 raindrops to defeat the level. It's a work in progress that is still in early stages but I would love to hear any feedback or ideas about any aspect of the game or the controls so that we can keep working to make it the best possible.
