I couldn't autoupdate 2.03 to 2.06, so I replaced my 2.03 NTTE in my mods folder. However, when I loaded NTTE, I was still stuck on 2.03. I had to go to the NTTE installation located in appdata and delete it in order to update properly. Everything seems to be working correctly now, and my progression is fully intact.

The mod is finally EOL and I don't expect any kind of deep inquiry into this or followup patch, but I'd like to leave this comment here in case anyone else is having a similar issue.

Really loved this first level, got all the h-scenes and honestly, i want to try my hand at speedrunning this game once the full release comes around. sdj cancelling off lanterns and landcancelling a rising jH is extremely satisfying lol

a few issues i noticed, though:

  • pausing during the alert during the liquidation sequence keeps the warning message overlaid over the pause menu
  • using certain attacks(like j8L or jH) while falling to hit destructible platforms causes the player to be teleported out of bounds or something as the platform breaks, which is treated as falling into a death pit, sending me back to the nearest checkpoint
  • the music does not play at certain points even when i am in combat, and i am unsure what the exact trigger is

the second one is honestly the most important one the others are mostly just "ah that's weird"
