They should work, but perhaps they weren't really clear. What did you have an issue with exactly

After you pick up a spirit, you have to go back to the house to cleanse it, before you can pick another one up :)

After combining slimes into yellow or purple, asteroids with black slimes will start to spawn.

I had some issues with some mountsins being over the hole and figuring out the controls. The game looks amazing though and the sounds fit very well.

Hilarious game. The levels are very fun. My only complaint was that restarting plays the start animation but thankfully its short.

It looks great and I love the amount of customisation and options provided especially since its made for a game jam. Also highly appreciate the first person camera option, as you cant really see much when using the third person one.

Loved the graphics but playing the game made me nauseous, so I had to stop :/

I liked the graphics. The character is a bit hard to control because of how much he slides.

Movement felt pretty good. The music loop was very nice. The challenge was also nice but I would appreciate some kind of health pickups or checkpoints

Controls took some getting used to but the movement is such a blast. Really fun game and it's pretty.

Loved the art and puzzles. It had some frustrating parts but I had a hard time putting it down.

Seconded. I love the new update in every way, but this is the one thing I miss. Control-C, control-V is somewhat of a workaround but you cant paste to the same exact coordinates which would make life much easier.

You're right I should have given the player control over jumping when using the orange orbs.

And thank you for making that video, it's really insightful. It really helped me see the infuriating parts of the game, that I just somehow ignored until now.

I very much appreciate you taking the time to record your playthrough.

I see, thank you.

I'll try tweaking the movement speed in the air a bit to make it feel better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! Honestly made my day :D

Clearly I should have had someone play test the game hahah, the levels really seemed far too easy for me after testing it a bunch, so I must have gone overboard on the difficulty on the final few sections.

I'm very curious about what you mentioned here: "As I said before, the warp mechanic was great to control. The main character, not as much, particularly because of how little aerial momentum they have. It made certain parts of the game more frustrating than they needed to be". Could you elaborate on this? Any thoughts on how this could be improved?

Again, thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it :)

You are right, I do need to work on how mechanics in the game are introduced to make sure they're more understandable.

I'm not sure what crystal you mean, but you might have missed a part... the game ends with a fade to "thank you for playing" and then closes.

Thank you for the feedback.

The area is supposed to be a circle, this is a bug on the keyboard + mouse controls.

Awesome, thanks :D

Are there any constraints on the submittion game's genre?

I'm just wondering because of the games published by Degica games, which seem to be more narratively driven and JRPG-ish.

Looking through the winners of last year, they seem to fit that genre as well...

Do the submittions have to be in any way similar, or are we allowed to take a more actiony approach? For instance, could I submit like a rougelite bullet-hell shooter, or an abstract hardcore platformer, or other kind of game that's more focused on mechanics and gameplay rather than story?

The fact that you need to "eat" your bullets to be able to use them again, was inspired by ouroboros.

First off, thank you very much for playing.  We are aware of this bug, but since we didn't find any immediate easy solution and this was our programmers first game, we decided to keep it in and focus on other things.

As for the music, it will probably be added in an update soon.

Oh, and what you showed in your second video isn't actually the end of the game. I guess it isn't intuitive enough, but you can teleport through the wall on the right, and there are a few more things to power on that side.

Thank you for your comment, and thank you for playing :D

Is there, or will there be a discord for the game jam? I really enjoy talking to other devs during a game jam.

To go through doors, you have to be in human form, so first revive at the statue, and then walk past the door.

Discord name: lolfrad

It was a solo project.
