Thoroughly entertaining presentation, loved the sense of humor and the visuals were delightfully cohesive. Puzzles were a little on the easy side, borderline trivial at points, and the dialogue did interrupt a little too often for my liking, but overall I really enjoyed my time with the game!

Nice idea, manages to scratch a similarly masochistic itch as the original.

Kinda got lost in the menus at one point, and the bird's movements were kinda inscrutible which lead to some unfair-feeling deaths, but I suppose that's largely the point with a game like this.

Nice job

Really sweet concept, loved having to scramble around to finish extra jobs after the adventurer showed up. Having the gates act as an obstacle to yourself as well as the hero added a nice bit of dynamic choice making which I really like.

Loved the artwork, the environment felt super cohesive and I loved how our janitor character looked.

My only real criticisms are that there were some moments when the minigames felt like they were too slow, especially the rhythm one. This, combined with them not being apparently possible to cancel lead to some fairly frustrating moments which I think could be cleared quite easily by making the minigames flow faster.

Fantastic work overall thoug I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this!

Liked the gloomy atmosphere, the concept was cool too. The adventurer's movements were kinda hard to interpret at times, so the appeal visualser kinda became mandatory which kinda ruined the visuals a little. Maybe if it was something diegetic like lighting it would've felt more intuitive?

Other than that, it was a good experience, great job!

Yeah I think we've worked out what the problem is there, should be easy to patch out.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Outside of the stuff mentioned in my comment, the only real suggestion would've been to have more descriptive feedback, and I see you've already commented on that fact. Aside from that, maybe adding timed orders kinda like an overcooked thing, but I realise that'd change the pace of the game a fair bit so perhaps not.

Great job!

Really fun idea for a game, presentation's great too. Didn't quite work out how to play with the difficulty modes on, but the randomised orders was a very good idea for some extra challenge. It got a solid giggle out of me when someone asked for a medium-rare chicken leg.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Thank you so much for the crit, your feedback is really helpful.

I totally agree with you on the level design. The project was only meant to be a week long, so I didn't give the gameplay design that much attention but I'm definitely going to tweak it to be more enjoyable.

As for the head-on collision killing you, there's something about the collision detection that freaks out and sends the player character flying. I don't know quite what causes it, I have a suspicion but I'm not certain. I'll try a few fixes or workarounds.

Again, I'm really grateful you took the time to say your thoughts on my game.

It's my first functioning solo project, so for someone outside of my immediate circle to even see it is amazing. -L.N. :)
