I finally figured it out.  But it really is more complicated than it needs to be.  Every 2 seconds I get a pop-up reminding me that this is an App Lab app, blah blah blah.  Maybe it's time to get it out of Beta and into a normal ordinary release cycle.  The software certainly seems stable enough for that.  Seems like App Lab is for really junky, unstable, pre-Alpha, craptacular software only for the riskiest software testers.  I think HereSphere is sufficiently mature, and now with the 1.0 version number, can't you go ahead and call it Officially Released ?

I'm having the same problem.  Can't update to the latest version 1.0.  I Google Search for something called "App Lab" but All i can find is something called "Sidequestvr".   It's asking me to sideload and link to a developer account.  I don't see anywhere to simply login with an existing Meta Quest account.  This is super confusing and complicated process.  I just want to update the app using App Store on Quest like every other app.  Not sure why this has to be so complicated and frustrating.  Needs to be massively simplified.

is there a way to SAVE these settings as DEFAULT settings, so I don’t have to keep changing them again for every video?  Thanks

thanks again I will try that bookmarking feature next time I login

Hello, that is great news, thank you so much !  The software is great 👍 and I am enjoying the features.  I also have another question,  when logging into a shared network attached storage (samba) folder, it seems like I have to manually reenter my username and password before every session.  Is there an option to save the username and password so I don’t have to reenter it every time?  I will also search the message archives to see if this question has already been answered.

Hello,

I recently purchased HereSphere for use with my new Quest 3.  I have a large library of VR video files on shared drive that I would like to watch.  The vast majority of them are named with the files naming convention “_180_sbs” which is used for auto detection by other media players such as Skybox and DeoVr.

Unfortunately it seems that HereSphere defaults to “mono” for these videos and I have to manually change the type to “side by side” using the Video Settings menu.

I know HereSphere will pick up “LR”,  but would it be possible to add “sbs” to the file name auto detection in a new update to the software ?    Or offer this as another advanced menu option for users to choose to enable?

This would allow me to use the same library file structure without having to potentially rename thousands of files, and adding more clutter to already long file names when the other media player software seem to handle “sbs” just fine.

Thank you,

- A New (paid) User of Here Sphere
