Hi,

I was wondering since we have a whole month to make a game, and there are many VN engines and tools that speed up process of game development, the games we make could become quite lengthy right? So then, just asking out of curiosity, is there a "time/length limit" the gameplay should be under? I'm asking because if I were the judge evaluating these games, I wouldn't have the patience to sit trough lengthy submissions

is there a theme reveal like in other jams? If no, how do we prove we didn't start working on our spooky VN before the start of a game jam?

This reminded me of arcade game inside Stardew valley you could play. It was fun to play (managed to reach lv 7!)

Yep I am :). I unfortunately  didn't manage to add that feature before the deadline

The art and music are top notch! Though I only managed to get to the green siren with my sister, but it's still incredible!

Shinier and prettier version of the game Unspottable!

Nice game with very cool "adventurous" music! The theme is nice and the visuals are pretty (and the piggy is cute :) ). One thing that confused me during gameplay was while opening the door I couldn't see the rewards behind it, but it's not a big deal. Overall good game!

I haven't managed to play a lot of games, but this is my favourite by far :) ! I loved solving puzzles in this game. The visuals are very pleasing to watch and the player movement was nice to control.  Maybe one thing I would tweak is the player burn time, it felt a bit too short but didn't ruin the expirience. Great game!

Funny little adventure hahaha XD! You've made a very simple game, but it's made really good. You have nice color scheme and pixel visuals are well combined with retro style music. It's a bit short but that shouldn't be a thing to criticise, since nobody has large amounts of free time to spend on a game jam. Anyways, good game :) !

The game is great! You've created some nice level scenery and the atmosphere was right on spot (ninja style :D). Game mechanic works well and player movement was fun to control. Other thing that came to my mind was that the enemies can be made more visualy responsive to player actions (so that I know when they're going to hit, or that I've hit them). Another small issue was that i have a different sized monitor so I couldn't see the bars and health.

Overall great game!

Well if youre not overburdened, try playing my game: https://lukvasando.itch.io/neon-spirit

And congrats to your team, you've made a great game with stunning music and cool gameplay!

Maybe too slow for my taste. The cat is very cute :)

I liked your game aesthetic very much and the movement was simple and elegant. The deduction "thingy" was a little unclear- I didn' know if 0 meant the least number of moves or not.  It's a nice puzzle game and  it has a clear theme connection. Good job! :)

The game story is cool and it fits the theme. UI could have been a bit more stylized and I realised too late that there were hints in the upper corner. All in all, It was fun little adventure!

I liked the idea of this game but it could have been more polished since it was not very clear what was ground. Good thing I guess was that I found a easter egg!

I liked this puzzle game, the artwork is also nice and there were no bugs found. Maybe the movement could have been made so that you use arrow keys to move  and rotate, avoiding navigating the movement menu. But it's a nice game!

I wish there was more to it. Maybe if you spent more time on it, it would have been better.

Chiuahua  had the best moves hahaha. Great visuals and atmosphere, but gameplay felt a bit too short. I saw dead rabbits floating in the end, was there something to it or is this a coincidence XD? Overall good first game!

You have really nice colours in your game! I liked the maps, but wished there were more to try. Also, the movement is hard to master, I had trouble moving where I wanted. But its still a nice game

I like puzzle games, and I liked this one! Some ambiental music should run in the background and it would be a flawless little game. Good job!

The game is good  but my case was stand still and let objects hit me to gain points lol. Also the movement was jittery, if this is made with unity, just tweak the rigidbody component to "interpolate", and that should make movement smoother. Praises to the music and visuals. Nice job!

You really nailed the theme hahaha! I've managed to beat %  but got hit and died at the same time.

And some superhero music would be cool to add while fighting.

High score: 1460!

The game is great! I have no negative feedback. Still I will agree on MZ-Dino's comment about spawning enemies. But it is possible to manuver\avoid them

You can really tell you invested yourself in producing music! Having this good soundtrack makes the game 1000 times better! Also your visuals are not bad, and I like the pixel animations.

I really wanted to try Nio but this game was too hard for me, since the first truck is too surprising and my reaction does not make the cut. I would suggest having a any kind of notifier that someting will come from the right. That way I'm ready to make the crucial jump.

*Sidenote: I've noticed you have jittery motion in paralax - if that object has Rigidbody, put it on "interpolate" in the inspector menu. It should move smoother.

Overall nice game!

I can see you went for a Neon style endless runner hahaha. Fun thing about it is that I also made one for this jam lol! XD

Share your game, even if its not the mentioned genre, and I'll check it out :)

Thanks!
