Thank you so much for loving the game/demo so far ! I don't post a lot about CoF unless we have important info about the progress (next one will be at the end of December this year) but I do post small ones here and there on my twitter account. Here is the link, although you might find more update on my other projects as I'm mostly working on it while waiting for CoF's writer to send her work my way✿

Ikki's, Yuta's and Toshio's routes will only have a few changes, Kenji and Ryu's will have some more details to it and additional scenes while Haru's route will be the one with the most changes ~

We really hope to land the final release before 2025/early 2025, though...unfortunately it seems it might not be the case. I'll be able to make another update in Winter, after seeing how much progress was done by the writer. But for now I still can't tell much nor make any promises, I'm afraid.

You aren't dumb at all, for that the french version isn't in the demo anymore (but it will be in the final release !) and that it's my mistake for forgeting to remove the information...
As for Fujiwara Bittersweet, I haven't took care of the translation yet and still debating if I will ^^"

Also...I might actually have good news for you, but...yup ! I was already basically planning to include time skip after each Sweet routes credits ~
I'm also planning on doing a childhood arc where you follow each characters lives from young kid to approx middle school (Aya included !) to have more details on what made them the way they are as high schoolers and adults later.

As for knowing what happens to other characters when we're not playing there respective routes, I'm not sure I can include it properly and smoothly, but I'll try to think of a way to do that. Maybe as some kind of bonus once you finish a route ? But I'm not making any promises just in case I'm not able to include it x)

Hello, don't wory it's totally okay to ask and I understand your concern (I'd be too, if I was in your shoes). I was planning on making an update in a few days, after checking things with the writer.
She had it really rough these past few months and I didn't want to rush her while she was recovering, but I need to discuss things one last time with her before doing an update.

As for the project, it's still in developement, but...it has been slowed down more than we though due to several unexpected turns of event in some of the team members lives. I'll talk about what's next more in details in the next update, hopefully in a few days.

Sorry for the lack of progress report as I was waiting for the right moment to post anything about it, thank you for cheking in and don't hesitate to ask anything if you have further concerns or questions✿

I can totally understand the fact that you prefer 1st person POV, but unfortunately I'm more more comfortable writing in 3rd person as it will be easier for me to includes other characters' thoughts (not just Aya's), which I think would help the readers to understand the characters' feelings better. I'm taking notes though, maybe for a future game✦

I'm glad you liked the demo despite not being very fond of the new way of presenting Haru, I'm taking notes✿
As for why I made it in the prologue is because people who were upset about Haru's not being trans nor biologically female said they felt like they were betrayed/baited, so...I decided to reveal it as soon as possible in the remake to avoid any more confusion and misunderstanding but as you might guess, it's just impossible for me to please everyone so I'm trying my best and doing a few compromises. The roof scene in the new game might be a bit out of place so I'll try to think of something else for the final, maybe a bit more tamed, but...I'm not sure I'll change it in the end...It's not a definitive 'no' though, I just don't want to make any promises if ever it doesn't happen x)

A good amount of people found Haru's route transphobic and I'm sincerely sorry for that. From what I understood from all the comments (mostly on steam) about how Haru's route was twisted, this is greatly due to the fact that my english was really poor at the time and that I failed to convey the message I had in mind, resulting to people thinking I voluntarily depicted Haru in a ill manner, which was
obviously not my intention.

Right now I'm working on a remake where hopefully it will be more clear for everyone that Haru is a cis boy simply crossdressing as a response/self-protection because of his view of the world around him and isn't actually a trans person. I do feel really bad for the people who felt hurt or betrayed because of their expectations and my poor writing at the time, so I'll try my best to make it extra clear from the get go✦♡

I hope it clears a bit the confusion ~

Unfortunately, I am not planning on making Fuji:RE more gender neutral as Aya is one of my OCs with a set gender (as well as the other characters), personality, name, etc THOUGH feel free to mod the og game as you want, as long as it's purely for personal use and not promoting your version as the original. The game's files of the current game aren't locked so you can change whatever you want (still for personal use) and I'm planning to not lock the remake either so you'll be able to mod it too when it releases✿

P.S : You might already know this game, but have you tried the Our Life series from GBPatch ? This is an amazing and wholesome visual novel with a good amount of customization, so it might actually fit your taste and preferences better✦

As for the game itself, I teamed up with someone else because it was a game jam. They worked as the programmer and I'm so glad they accepted to participate with me (I took care of the writing and art), else I wouldn't be able to code all of that myself !
