Heyo! No worries, thank you for the clarification! :D

Got it! Thank you so much!

Heyo! I joined this jam yesterday and had an idea for an SRD based around shoot 'em up/bullet hell videogame mechanics (most specifically thinking about the "grazing bullets" thing some of those games have).

...As in, the game submitted *will* be physical, but the mechanic is inspired by a mechanic from a non-analog game.

Is that okay, or should I look for a mechanic from *another* tabletop/analog game? :0

Thank you for the opportunity!

Whoops, I missed that ;_; Sorry about that, and thank you so much for the response!!

YEEEEEHAW!

Hello! I was wondering if it was okay to customize our minimalist game's page once we're ready to publish it, or should we just use the default options of an itch page to keep it minimalistic as well (AKA no custom background/banner)?

Thank you! I'm so happy to read your comment and that you liked the zine/language <3

I will make sure to let you know if I end up making any docs too! Thank you so much for reading :D

I'm glad to read that!

Thank you! :'D

Hello! Yeah, go ahead!

Thank you so much!

I'm glad to read that! :'D

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the game :D

Gracias!

Yeah, you can play it with just two keys! And thank you so much! <3

AA I'm so happy to read that!! :'D

Thank you so much!

Heyo! I'm Barbo/Patrick, lead of the Magikya Studios team! Nice to meet you all.

I'm the only tabletop game designer of the group (for now, you can see my published tabletop games in this very account!), and plan on making a game or two using Roll Up! for the jam c:

(Speaking of, are multiple entries ok? I don't know if I'll actually do more than one game because I want to do a bigger game than what I usually do first but I wanna make sure just in case I do make another entry-)

Thank you! And sorry about that aaa ;_; I'll try and see if I can add scroll speed settings to the game! (It'd be complicated because of how the only song chart is programmed + I'm new to programming rhythm games overall, but I will try my best to add something like that! )

Hmm... sorry to read that, in what way are they hard to see: is it the speed, or the color? Or something else like the distance? Because if it's the latter, I highly recommend playing from the Windows build ^^

Aa I'm glad!

I'm definetly checking out your stream aswell :0 (I follow you since I discovered One Page Left and Iron Valley and had no idea you did streaming aswell!! that's awesome!)

And thank you so much for playing! (Shmopi is so cute!!)

Thank you so much for playing! I'm very happy you had fun :D

And about the advice you gave, thank you so so much for that as well! I'm definetly applying what you said in the next version I do of the rulebook (though I'm currently in a videogame jam and don't have a lot of time aside from that and doing my daily life, but I'll fit the game in a single page + think of an end state as you recommended as soon as I can!)

Thanks again for your comment and criticism! It's really appreciated :D

Thank you so much! And thanks to you for organizing the jam :D

Thank you!

AA I'm so happy to read that!! Thanks to you :D

Aa I'm glad!

Aa thank you both!!

Thank you!!

I'm glad you liked it! :D

Got it! Thank you so much!

Heyo! I'm interested in joining the jam, but I have a question:

In what category should we submit our entry's itch.io page once the jam is on-going? Since it's pixel-art/animation, it'd have to be in the "game assets" category, right? Or do we put the page under the "other" category? :0

Or do we have to submit the files in another way?

Just wanna make sure before the jam starts ^^

Thank you so much for the comment!

Got it! Thank you so much.
